It's another Friday, so I'm here to wish you a great day!  I had such a fun day yesterday and got something in the mail that put the icing on the cake, so to say.  I received a written report on my genetic test(Brca 1&2) that I had two weeks ago. I was thrilled to read that my result for negative for this gene.  It means simply, that I didn't inherit the gene my sister did for Ovarian cancer and that my girls won't need to have this test in the future.  I am still waiting to hear about the CTscans and meet with my doctor, but it made my day. 
Last night, hubby and I watched a show on the Smithsonian channel about American women in the late 1800's who married Earls, Barons and such in London and Paris. It was very similar to Downton Abbey, but the true stories of Aristocrats marrying wealthy Americans.  I was also surprised to find out that Princess Diana great grandmother was married to a man from Ireland with my maiden name.  That got me to wondering if my family wasn't only a distant cousin of the Kennedy's but also Princess Diana.  We only watched one episode of it and the following show was American Princesses; I will definitely have to look for this series and record it.
