Happy Sunday,  I hope you've had a glorious weekend so far and for those friends still dealing with the aftermath of Sandy, I pray the cleanup is going quickly and that you've got power back on.
Normally, I don't post on the weekend but since this is the month to give Thanks, I want to post something every day.
Today I am thankful for the fun day we had yesterday; Stanford took CU to the cleaners.  I was so surprised, I expected them to win but not end with a score of 48-0.  I do have to say my heart was routing for Stanford because I spent over 50 years living in that area.  The weather was cool and damp and I am thankful that it didn't rain or snow.  I was cold but it wasn't as bad as it could have been.  We had a wonderful dinner and a very nice restaurant but I was still so full this morning I think I could go a day without eating.  I especially appreciated the restaurant because they had gluten free pasta.  I love Boulder, there is so much to do and so much life there. I will admit the first time I went to the Pearl Street Mall, I felt like I was back in high school and college-so much tie-dye and long haired college students.   I was so thankful for the time spent with my brother and sil; wish we lived closer to them-actually I wish they lived here.
I am thankful for the time change; I always love this time of year.  Hunter and I went on a nice walk this morning and he got back into his training mode; I was pretty relaxed last week with Lily here, but we are back to work now that we are on our regular schedule.

  1. We saw the score of the game and thought of you. Sorry for CU, but glad a part of your heart was pulling for Stanford!
I think it's good that Hunter had a little training vacation! It's good for everyone to take a break!

  2. Happy Sunday to you and Hunter! It is a beautiful day here (and we are supposed to have a few more) so I think we'll enjoy this a little longer before it gets bad next weekend!

  3. We are so glad you are having a wonderful Sunday. How did you find a gluten free restaurant. WE love the time change too. This morning we awoke to the sounds of wolves greeting the day. It was so mystical.

My Vickie said to tell you that she does our headers herself and would be happy to try somethign for you. Just email. She loves to play on her photoshop.

    Have a wonderful Sunday

  4. I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the time change ... I hate that it's going to be dark so early now! The sun will set in less than 20 minutes - before 5:00! :-(

Glad you had a wonderful time at the game, even if CU lost. ;-)

  5. Hi Noreen, I so enjoyed an extra hour of sleep this morning, I just love this time of year. I am at the age where I'd rather have cool, cold weather than hot and balmy. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to leave a comment. I am adding your blog to my blog roll. Have a lovely evening. Your new blogging friend from Maine, Julie.

  6. It sounds like you had a wonderful time with your relatives, Noreen. I often wish I lived closer to my only brother, too.

I think you and I are one of the few people that like the time set-back! xo Diana

  8. It sounds like a fun weekend. I've only been to Boulder once. I visited a friend and it was the first time I ever went skiing. A fun college town.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie
