Happy Tuesday friends~Well the weather outside is cold and the sun is still shining, despite the frost.
I finally got our Christmas Cards ordered and I'm hoping they arrive faster than a speeding bullet. I know I didn't order enough but I was too late for some of the specials and they cost more than I'd like; that is what happens when you take to long to figure out what you're doing. We saw both families last night and presented the girls with NOEL signs for their decorating; I saw a blogger copy Pottery Barn's sign and decided we needed to make two ourselves. We also got to see Miss A and wish her a happy birthday; she will have her party on Sat. along with her sister Miss O, who has a birthday in Dec. Got to love joint parties.
I don't know about you but there seems to be a lot to accomplish in the next several weeks, so I am making a daily list and hoping to avoid stressing myself out. Having said that I'm got to get lunch and then catch up on my ladies study as well as cut fabric for tomorrow's craft project. A friend hosts a get together at her house, once a month and everyone bring something to work on. That same friend and I try to work on the same project, it is easier to pull together like this. We will be making quilted star ornaments, that I shared about last year but never made.
I hope you have a wonderful, peaceful day!
Big hugs, Noreen & Hunter

You sound very organized along with being very busy. I'm making lots of lists for myself these days too....now I just need to start doing some of the things on the lists. :)
ReplyDeleteYou sound really busy getting ready for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteI'm starting a list too, because all of the sudden I'm feeling a little panicky.
Hello! Yes, I am finding myself busy in spite of trying to start early, cut back, and not fret, haha. I need to shake this flu which so far hasn't happened. I wish I had thought about it and asked you about the GF stuffing and pie crust. What about any good sugar cookie recipes? I soo appreciate you sending me the recipes Noreen. Hope you have a good day!
ReplyDeleteOh, and looking forward to seeing your completed project..sounds good!
Your retirement looks like my MOM's work days. Go Go Go. But MOM seems to fret over things this time of year that others (or some) don't. Me I just put it in cruse mode and watch the fun.

Simplify, simplify, simplify . . . don't sweat the small stuff. Give Hunter a scratch behind the ears and don't stress : )

Hi Noreen and Hunter! I'm still no closer to getting my cards than I was 6 months ago...It's not for lack of trying, that's for sure. But you're right about things getting busy, and it's only going to get worse--Hang on, huh? :-) I hope your cards arrive quickly!! Take care, and I do hope your day ends on a good note!!
