Good Morning Friends,  I don't know about you, but I am so very thankful that all the political stuff is over!  I am thankful we live in a country where we have a choice in elections.  I am thankful for the freedom to cast my ballot.  Regardless of who you wanted for president, what you feel about our current president and his winning the election-he is still President and is due our respect.  I can only hope that the economy will turn around; hubby was unhappy about the stock market this morning.
Here is Colorado, Pot was legalized and I'm not happy about that.  Not sure how it will play out between the federal regulations and the state.  I want us all to move on.
I am thankful for the beautiful fall day today and for the ladies I will be joining today for crafts.  I am still, slowly, working on the border for my quilt; if it snows this weekend, I may just get more time to work on it-although we do have commitments on both days, so maybe not.  Next week, my hubby will be away so that means time when I can do what I want and not worry about having dinner on the table etc.
I hope you have a wonderful day. Lifting up prayers for the east coast and recovery happening, as well as the new storm not materializing.
With Gratitude,  Noreen & Hunter

  1. Perfectly said! We all should be grateful for the freedom we have in our country. It's time to put aside all of the division and come together. Have a blessed day. Hugs, Linda

  2. It is a beautiful day to be thankful for many things, regardless of how the election turned out. Today I am thinking of 1 Timothy 2:1-2. I am thankful for the warm sunshine on my furs right now and for all my friends that surround me whether physically or through this thing we call blogging. Life is beautiful indeed.

  3. I, too, am glad that all the political stuff is over ... for 4 years anyway. I didn't realize that legalizing marijuana was on the ballot in Colorado ... I wouldn't be happy about that either.

I probably won't get much quilting done in the next several days ... we have something every day through Sunday, but I'm hoping that I'll get a little time with needle and thread at some point in the next few days.

  4. You are so right Noreen that we should be thankful for the freedoms we enjoy in our country. I hope we all will be able to move forward in the political process and help our country to recover. Thank you for the reminder. Have a great day! :)

  5. Woof! Woof! Happy Wednesday. We are glad its over too. We don't like POT. Enjoy your day. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  6. Very well said. We should work for one Nation under GOD.
It is a foggy cooler day here in Oregon. The tree outside my office window has almost lost all its leaves. I have really enjoyed looking at it. The beauty and the colors were so brilliant.
Monday on the way to work we had a spectacler sun rise with beautiful pink skys.

    Blessings & Hugs

  7. Oh your soo right of course...glad this is behind us now and we must move forward, united, and praying for our country. Enjoy your day!

  8. Hi Noreen! I'm worn out this morning, but see on the news that it's snowing in New York City--I hope people continue to find warmth and comfort. I am also very, very glad this election is over, and hope all find a common ground and work for the good of this country!

    Enjoy your day!!

  9. You're not the only one glad that the elections are over. Maybe I'll won't get so many robo-calls now. I had one politician whose people kept calling me for support even though I'm not in his district. Even if I was inclined to vote for him I couldn't - and I wouldn't after getting so many calls!

  10. Amazing how much time it frees up if you don't have to cook dinner! This evening my husband smiled at me and said, "No political ads at all today. Isn't that wonderful?" Our mute button might actually survive.

  11. Yes, so glad the elections are behind us! This was a very negative year. Mom was a nervous wreck last night. Now today she is behind in checking everyone's blogs. I will have to talk to her about time management. Mom told me about your state legalizing pot. Don't worry, pot heads don't want to leave the house so you won't notice anything.

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  12. I'm glad that it's over too! The people have spoken, and we're so lucky that we get to speak!

Enjoy this glorious weather we've been having.
