Happy Wednesday to you! I am enjoying the morning so far; yesterday I was able to accomplish all that I hoped I would-finishing my lesson for my study tomorrow, cutting fabric for craft day today and then starting a little girl's doll dress. As I was sewing the skirt together, I realized I have almost a month to make three in and that should be plenty of time-so why get in a fuss about it. I was never the seamstress when it came to clothes and although I love quilting, I just never got into sewing anything else. I did take a sewing class at the local junior college, with my girls, when they were in high school and got an A in the class but that is the extent of my skills.
Today, I am going on my walk shortly and then will meet a dear friend for lunch-her birthday is Friday so I'm taking her out today, even though I'll see her tomorrow at study. After that I have to head to the craft group to work on the ornaments.
I did want to share some more of my snowmen collection.
These two groups, among some others sit above our kitchen cabinets. They always make me smile. No snow in the forecast here, thank you very much. I hope you are finding little things each day to smile about. Life is good!
Joy to you.

Woof! Woof! Mom Loves snowman decorations too. Happy Wednesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteQuilting and sewing clothes are at polar opposite ends of the sewing spectrum - I'm totally convinced of that. Apples and oranges. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your snowmen!

Your snow men are adorable. I love snow men myself and have a small collection of them.
ReplyDeleteI'm still wishing for snow here in Illinois. There won't be any in the forecast any time soon - we're going to get near 70 this weekend. 70 in December? That's just not right. Bring on the snow! ;-)
Good morning! It is soo me to get all worked up over things needing to get done, haha. And when I put it down on paper and lists it is usually all pretty manageable. I have my oldest son's 40th b/day party this Sat. I am trying to coordinate right now, AND I need to make two Christmas blankets and 10 coasters between now and Sat. Think I will make it?! haha Being sick definitely didn't work into my schedule. I am feeling MUCH better today, but not 100% yet so I am "trying" to take it a little easy as I don't want to relapse. Your day sounds soo good, ENJOY it! HUGS
ReplyDeleteI like those snowmen.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Around here time seems to be flying and I really need to get my thoughts together for any Christmas gifts I might want to make. The girls got into the traditional "decorate the house" the day after Thanksgiving. We are DECKED! Joy to your week!
ReplyDeleteYour snowmen are so cute. I have just a couple of snowmen things but I do love them.
ReplyDeleteWe have some snow but not a lot. I hope we get a bit for Christmas- we usually have about a foot on the ground here by this time of year- xo Diana
We think it is going to be a warm, dry winter. Mom says that is perfect for her (my pawrents run outside all year long). But we do need the water so she says it is okay if it snows in the mountains. We love the snowmen though!!
