Hello, as you read this I will be in the sky headed towards Boston. We will get a rental car and make our way up to Maine, then over to New Hampshire, Vermont, the Berkshires in Ma. before heading home next week. I will do my best to get pics to post, but honestly I think we'll be having such an amazing time with our traveling companions that I probably won't get to it until I'm back. On Saturday this precious granddaughter turned 12; she is such a joy, so giving and loving. Having said that I will say she can hold her own with her brothers and can actually out climb them. She's got a bit of moxy in her as well; which always makes me happy. Here she is after a wonderful dinner of fajitas.
She choose Ice Cream sandwiches for dessert and were they good!  Actually our girl has recently cut out dairy and she had the best Cashew Milk ice cream I've ever tasted!   It is so rich and reminded me of Gelato.  Yum.  Her youngest sister is next to her and I think you can see the moxy in her as well.

After dessert, the kiddos-all 11 of them, went outside and played Kick the Can in the dark-except that you use a plastic soda bottle with a flashlight inside it.  The adults all talked about the NFL and how it should be in the guidelines, like it is with the NBA, that they have to stand during the National Anthem.
So I hope you all have a great day!  It's been raining in northern Colorado a lot and the snow hit the mountains Sunday.  I'm sorry, but I'm just not ready for winter yet.  If it happens, I will spend by time at the gym and downstairs in my sewing room.
Blessings~
