Our Wee Bonny Lass

Yesterday hubby and I ran out to Carrie's house; hubby needed to work on a project with the boys, so I took the opportunity to go out to help with Miss E.  She is just so small and cute-makes you want to hold her all day.  I did finally let hubby have a few minutes with her, but it was hard to let go.  The family has decided she looks like her older brother, Mr. B.  All I know is that, like the rest of the babies, I can't get enough of her.
This morning I joined Kam and went on a walk; choose to leave Hunter at home with Petrol, lest Petrol get into some trouble.  I also think they are playing enough that Hunter doesn't need the walk.
After the walk, Kam and I went on a 5 mile bike ride; we had enough breeze to make it pleasant and hope to ride every day during the week. I'm thinking that once we master the 5 mile ride, I will increase it to the 8 mile ride and then we will eventually work up to the 13 mile ride.  Maybe my "jello" legs will firm up, if we ride as much as I'd like to.
Now, I am home and sweaty, after I jump in the shower I will begin working on my lesson for Friday.
Did anyone watch the Premier of Under The Dome last night?  I'm anxious to hear what others think about it.  One thing is certain, there are no good shows on t.v. during the summer.  Most of the summer shows we watch won't be airing until mid-July.
Hope you have a great day!
Joy to you~

  3. There is nothing like holding a baby on your chest and breathing in all that wonderful baby scent! I could do that all day, too.
Ride a mile for me! ;)

  4. Our summer TV viewing is restricted to Cardinals baseball and re-runs of NCIS.

It's gotten too hot to ride our bikes during the day, and with swim meets at night, we just don't seem to get out on our bikes very much. Maybe if we lived closer to the bike trails, but as it is, we have to load up our bikes, drive over to the trail, unload and then repeat the process when we're done. An awful lot of work for a quick ride before or after it gets too hot.

It would be hard for me to give up time with a little bitty one ... although I have to be honest and say that I love the toddler years the very best. Around 3-4 especially ... they're potty trained, can communicate (and come with the funniest things to say), can play and interact but are still young enough to be cuddly and sweet. <3

  6. Miss E is just so sweet - makes Mom wish there were more grandbabies on the way here too. Mom says she had to DVR Under the Dome for Dad last night but neither of them has watched it yet.

  11. Your newest grandchild is so precious. How wonderful that you can be so close.

We did watch Under the Dome and we're not sure yet. We will watch again to see if we want to keep watching. We like science fiction type shows, but not sure what the twist is on this show. We like Royal Pains, plus summer is usually a good time to check out channels like the History channel if we want to watch tv or old movies.

Good for you with all the workouts!
