It's Thursday again; tell me where do the days go? We had a good day yesterday, after trying to get spit out of a baby. I will say my girl reminded me that Mr. L has been diagnosed with Colitis, but the test will help determine if it is from food allergies or if it is from an ulcer-tell me please how a baby can get this!
Hubby and I went on a 13 mile bike ride yesterday morning, then he went to the golf course and I did some reading.
We also took Hunter on a short walk last night.
Today is another day filled with errands, lunch with a friend and hopefully seeing my new granddaughter-a nana does need to see her at least once a week, don't you think. We also have the weekly concert at the lake tonight; we always pack a small dinner and the weather will be just perfect for it.
I hope you have a wonderful day today.

HiNoreen,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that little L is not doing well. Hopefully they can identify the trouble and fix it soon. So hard on Mommies who are caring for a little one who is sick and can't say where it hurts too.
Enjoy all of your fun activities today!
xo Kris
You have been busy and I hope the baby is well soon. The concert and picnic sounds relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI think I have heard a couple of places that ulcers are caused by bacteria which I guess could be picked up anywhere, but does seem like a hard thing for a baby to get. Hopefully this test will give them the answers they need and they can quickly take care of the problem. Your whole day sounds perfect to me! And yes, a nana really does need to see those babies AT LEAST once a week. Those newborns change soo fast. I make Mel send me pics at least twice a week. How I'd love to hold my new one for a while today! Enjoy yours for me too!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been busy ... and will be busy again today. ;-)
ReplyDeletePraying that the test will reveal a course of treatment for you little guy.
And of course, a Nana needs to see her granddaughter at least once a week ... even more would be better!
We went on a bike ride yesterday too! We tested out the No Walkin' Amish Cruising Wagon. There was a TERRIBLE wind and dads legs were about to fall off. We went 12.25 miles. So today mom went to the store and bought a special padded bike seat so we can go farther next time!

Noreen,
ReplyDeleteSounds like a super busy but fun day. Hope you get the results back soon so you can have that peace of mind without the "not knowing."

I think you should get a basket for your bike and take Hunter along. Or a cool wagon like Murphy and Stanley. Hope you had a wonderful time at the concert.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
