From My Library

I received this book free from Bethany House to review; I have not received any compensation or payment for my honest review.  This book is probably one of the most difficult books I've reviewed, for several reasons..  Firstly, it is a 21 day study with questions at the end of each chapter; thus making it a bit slower to read and  I was not familiar with the author either.  There were endorsements from teachers and speakers I was familiar with, which is why I choose to review it.
It is a book divided into three sections:  The Lifestyle of Intimacy, The Lifestyle of Wisdom and The Lifestyle of Revelation;  each section cover seven chapters.  It was biblical, covering both Old Testament and New Testament Prophets as well as the work of the Holy Spirit in Christians today.
If you are interested in Prophetic Ministry I would recommend this book.  I was a bit disappointed because I felt it covered mainly those who have already been called into this work and not those who desire to walk in the anointing today.
It is not a book for everyone, but one I know I will go back to as reference in the future.

Have a wonderful day!
Noreen

  1. Sounds like a book that requires more than just reading it. Some of those are ones I reread! Thanks for the review.

  2. Sounds interesting, but what I really am commenting on is the one before this one with you and your hubby. What a great tribute to a lifetime with the right man, Gods' choice for you. Congratulations! I loved it!!

  3. His stuff can be kind of deep for me, takes a few reads of chapters sometimes. I have not read this one. Hmmm, looks like I missed a post. I will need to go back. I haven't been online much.

  5. Hi Noreen. I am not commenting on the book, but rather the previous post, since I somehow missed it. What a lovely tribute to your husband and marriage. You were married only a few years before us. Oh how I remember the John Travolta days!!! It sounds like you have a wonderful marriage, and have had such a great family life!! So lucky, aren't we?
    Hugs, and Happy Anniversary!!
