Good morning friends~I hope you had a wonderful New Year's Day and are all ready for the New Year. We continued to put our home back together yesterday, watched a little college football and saw some friends in the afternoon. This morning it feels like a Monday and I'm realizing the need to get back on some sort of schedule so I don't just sleep in every morning.

Hunter seems quite content with having the house back to normal, don't you think? I will say though, that I don't mind if he is up on the back of the couch but not chewing on a hoof; down that came immediately. The house looks rather bare now that the Christmas decorations are down. Today, I'm heading up right now to get dressed and hit the sewing room, so I don't put it off indefinitely. I hope/plan to get to the gym this afternoon and do some time on the treadmill or bike; but girls, it is so cold here and all I have is yoga pants to wear, may end up just wearing jeans. I also want to see my oldest who has an IPad and also a Kindle so I can learn how to work the Kindle app on our IPad. Bible study doesn't start for another two weeks so I imagine I will get lots done between now and then. I hope you are starting the year on a good note; one positive thing is that at least, for now, the physical cliff isn't looming over us. On the news last night, the announcer said that there will be a cliff #2-oh goodie. I'm looking forward to visiting you all today. Hugs,

  1. So glad you are getting back into a more normal routine. I need to get back to the gym, but it's so cold here that like you, I just can't force myself outside.

I've had a very lazy morning ... I need to kick myself into gear and get busy. Hope you got into the sewing room right off!

  2. Good morning! I was just thinking the same thing this morning...the house looks bare, haha. I think because I had all the Fall decorations up from Sept first up until I put up the Christmas decs., and then 4 weeks of those. Maybe I need a couple of "winter" decs. haha Not really, I couldn't bear to have more things to change. Your day sounds wonderful to me. I have soo much to do today I am thinking I shouldn't even be on here...time to get busy! Enjoy your day!

  7. I LOVE having the Kindle app on my iPad. There are so many free books out there that it makes it even more fun. And if I can use it so can you.

I have always tried to decorate for Christmas with things that can stay up and look wintery through January. That way I don't get the household blahs with everything coming down after Christmas. Lots of table top lit trees, snowflakes and snowmen.

After 13 days of the girls being around I am happily exhausted and enjoying the quiet nest today. Molly is sacked out, sleeping big time after all the extra people and extra dog around for so long.

    Joy to you my friend!

  9. Hunter is adorable, our tree is still up, I did get some cleaning done today. So glad you have got things back to normal, since Christmas and New Years came on Tuesday, I seem to have got my days mixed up, hopefully next week I can get some serious organizing done.
I have started my walking back too, and have been blessed to have bearable temps.
    Enjoy your week.
You asked about our dog Jack, he is a Terrier, and just the sweetest dog ever.
    Hugs,
    Sue

  12. Hunter is looking quite content. I hope that you made it through the cold to the gym. It sure has been freezing around here, hasn't it?

Enjoy these quiet days of winter.

  13. You Hunter is so cute and looks content. I let Einstein on the funiture because we have covers on them. I know I am bad. Our cats can get on the furniture too.
Einstein has started to take me for brisk walks on my lunch break. He may have little legs but he loves to walk fast. It is so good for me too....

Thank you for sharing your Hunter.

    Blessings & Love
    Janet
