This song has been rolling around in my head since last night; it is one of my  favorites and as I reflected on it I thought there might be some friends who are needing to see these lyrics.

I NEED YOU MORE
"I need You more, more than yesterday, I need You Lord
More than words can say, I need You more
Than ever before, I need You Lord, I need You Lord

More than the air I breathe
More than the song I sing
More than the next heartbeat
More than anything, and Lord as time goes by
I'll be by Your side
Cause I never want to go back to my old life

Right here in Your presence is where I belong
Now my broken heart has finally found a home
And I'll never be alone."

For so many, these days are filled with uncertainty and fear can truly envelop a heart and mind.  There is only one thing in this life I can be absolutely certain of and that is the steadfast love and care of My Redeemer.  I've seen enough in this life to know that this is our temporary home and we could be at the end of our time before we are expecting it.  This I know, that Jesus Christ died for me and conquered death and has risen to the right hand of the Father; this I know and would stake my life on.  This has granted me salvation and eternal life.  During this holy week, may His gift of love and sacrifice be ever present in our minds.
Tuesday blessings to you dear ones.
Noreen

  4. I so appreciated your words and the hymn. I have been having such a difficult time over these last few years since my accident and sometimes have been feeling I am 'holding on by my teeth' to my faith! The first 2 years weren't too bad but these last 2 have been so very hard...not helped by church people who said 'You've been too busy.. the Lord must want you to rest'...ever tried resting when you are in a wheelchair and unable to put a foot to the ground so need to have someone do even personal things for you? Sorry...it's just been so hard and I am finding this community I've just found so supportive. You are like a breath of fresh air....many. many thanks. Joan

  10. Amen! We sing that in our church and it's often on my lips too... Lord give us a new song a song of praise unto our God! May we bring each other the encouragement so needed, to lift our gaze upon the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the whole world! Halleluiah!
