The Kauai Humane Society is funded by donations but they must be doing something really right. As I've said before, this is the nicest facility I've ever seen; of course my experience was limited to California.
The large dog area-not only meeting the needs of the dogs but so pretty too-I'd love a yard that looked like this.
The actual building-so very impressive, way to go Kauai!
My favorite quilt store-there may be fabric stores but girls, let me tell you, if you visit here this is a must see.
Although I wasn't planning on buying any fabric, hubby and I couldn't resist this baby boy fabric. This course is where hubby and his two bff's will be playing today. The course was on his bucket list and although neither of us have any plans of going anywhere, at least we know he got his chance to play here. I'm hoping and praying that he will have a good round and that the wind will die down. The gals and I will be having lunch in the nearby town, shopping, site seeing and then if time allows we will spread out towels and play cards.
I am in desperate need of the gym; next week I will hit those bikes a lot.
I hope you all have a joy filled day and that you are able to find beauty in the world around you!
Joy to you~Noreen
Gorgeous fabric! Some baby boy is going to be a lucky little boy.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite an impressive facility there.
Sure hope the weather cooperates so your hubby can have a good game of golf today.
Have a great day!
You know I just adore the rooster,~smile~, and if you aren't used to the crowing it will wake you. I always worry when we have overnight company if they will get woke up before daylight. What a wonderful restful time you all are having, Noreen. I have been thinking about my word for this year 'Savor" and trying to make sure I savor each moment. it looks like a great place to "savor" moments, May you continue to savor these moments and thank you for sharing. I love the fabric you chose.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sue
What a wonderful Humane Society. I love the rooster too - during daylight hours! Your island is just so beautiful. I really enjoy seeing your posts!

Morning Noreen,
ReplyDeleteOh I have so enjoyed seeing all of your pictures. Remember and love all those gorgeous flowers, so pretty and colorful, and the waterfalls. Great pics of you with your friends and with your hubby. So glad yall are having such a wonderful time.
Are those blow holes just the coolest thing you ever saw! We got quite a kick out of those. Had any good pineapple or Tuna steak. We remember how good both of those were...........fabulous to be exact!
Keep on having a fun time............
Love and Blessings, Nellie
Hi Noreen...such lovely pictures! I haven't tried the new blogger "thingy" ... just seem to get comfortable with something and then it changes! The little quilt shop looks like my kinda place! Sweetest blessings to you! Hugs ♥ Teri
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Again, such wonderful pictures. I loved them all, but I REALLY loved the fabric. I can see why you couldn't resist it. We are hoping for a boy with our newest grand to be too. How perfect this fabric would be. So glad you have been having such a good time! HUGS
ReplyDeleteOh Noreen, that rooster is beautiful! I remember seeing them all over the island!! So pretty. But I wouldn't like it crowing by my window at 3:00 a.m.!!
ReplyDeleteHope your husband has a good round of golf today. And that quilt shop is a must for me the next time I go. I have not been to that one. I have been to the one on Maui though.
Have fun with the ladies today!! The gym will wait.
XO Kris
Beautiful Photos! It looks like you are enjoying beautiful Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteThe animal place looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question those two dogs you asked about are Miniature Golden Doodles. They are about 11 weeks old and I am told they should get to be about 30 or maybe 40 pounds. There names are Murphy and Stanley. If you would like to know more about them you can check out their blog at http://murphyandstanley.blogspot.com/
Blessings,
Goose
