Good morning dear ones, Isn't it simply amazing that we are now in April; March flew by so quickly.
We had a beautiful and warm weekend here but today we have a storm front from Ca. that has moved in, bringing with it gale force winds and cold temps. This weather reminds me so much of California winters. Hubby and I had a fun weekend but we ended up postponing our Boulder lunch because our youngest daughter's family all had bad colds with fevers. Unfortunately, hubby got it too so yesterday was a very relaxed day here at home. I'm hoping he kicks it quickly and easily before our vacation. I had to quit the class I was taking at the gym because every time I went I got vertigo and it just isn't worth it. So now I will stick to the bikes, treadmill and possibly some weight machines. I have to admit that it was fun to stay in bed a bit later this morning; probably because the weather is so cold. I also have to postpone a bike ride I was going on tomorrow,due to the weather. By the end of this week, our temps should be back up in the 60's again-yeah!
I hope you had a great weekend and that your Monday is smooth sailing; remember it is great to be alive!
Hugs, Noreen

Good morning. Yep, we had another rain storm this week-end, with some cold weather. It's gorgeous out today though. I can see why you'd forget the gym. Vertigo just wouldn't be good. You seem so active and busy anyway. Sorry your hubby and family have got colds. I felt myself getting one yesterday too (complete with slight fever later in the day) but I am already feeling MUCH better today, so don't think it is going to be any big deal. Hope you have a good day! HUGS
ReplyDeleteHope you hubby gets well quickly....especially before your vacation. It is too bad about the vertigo. That is a terrible feeling. I get it when I ride any of the rides that go in a tight circle. Your weather sounds a lot like our own...60's tomorrow after this cold spell. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteI spent most of my weekend in the car, coming home from Florida. Our leg on Saturday was supposed to take just a little less than 11 hours and ended up taking almost 14 hours. Yikes!! Turns out it was a spring break weekend, and half of Florida must have been on I-75 heading north along with us, resulting in massive traffic jams. Ugh!
I'm trying to get back into my normal routine now that we're home, but we're having some trouble with our Abby today. As I've mentioned before, I worry about knowing when it's time. I'm praying that now is not the time ... but I want to make sure one way or the other, so we're going to get her checked out this afternoon. Pray that the vet will have something in her bag of tricks that will help with Abby. Thanks! {{hug}}
I am glad you got to stay in bed a bit longer.
ReplyDeleteIt has been nice to have some cooler weather. I like it because I don't have time to get tired of it. It just stays long enough.
I hope everyone gets well soon. That bug as gone around our house too. It is terrible. All of my grands got it first.
We've had a lot of rain here too but temps are pretty mild....I hope your hubby is well soon and we can hear more stories of all the adventures the two of you take...
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to tell you thanks for commenting on my blog. For some reason your email addy doesn't show up anywhere...so I can't email you a reply. I think it might be in your settings. Usually when you go to someone's profile their email address is there. Not sure if you are aware of it- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI hope by now that your Hubby is fully recovered! Blessings as you prepare for your trip. Anticipation is a large part of the joy of a vacation. =)
