Good Friday blessings to you~Well unfortunately, for us, the little male poodle mix had already been in the adoption process and I'm thankful that he has a forever home now. I will say that he was so cute, smaller than I thought and such a sweet personality but it just means that there is another pup that is perfect for hubby and I, out there waiting for us.  It is hard to wait and see, but with leaving next week, at least my heart won't be staying behind.
Many of you said you'd like to see my new glasses so here I am.  I've got to say that they are totally different from any I've ever had before but I think they are so fun!  I do have a "dress up, wireless rims, pair" that I will save for when I'm feeling the need to do it up a bit.

You can see that the sides have a cute little design as well; I just love them!
I've already hit the garage sales in our area and have to work on a shopping list for Sunday.
I hope you have a wonderful day today, ever mindful of the great sacrifice that was made for all of us.
Hugs, Noreen

  5. Hi there, those new glasses are adorable! Unfortunately, I will be investing in some before long I am afraid.
Anyhooo, our local shelter has a "pet of the week" that they show on our local news every Friday. This week's was a long haired chihuahua. He is ten years old, his name is Leroy, and he only weighs 10 lbs. He was sooo cute. His ears were the largest thing about him. They were requesting a retired couple, or older couple to adopt him because he cries if he is left alone and not being held, lol. They said they had no idea why his previous owner brought him to the shelter. He only has one tooth, and was as sweet as he could be. To me, that is soooo sad. It would be like giving your child away! I'm not judging, as I don't know their reasoning, but still it is sooo sad!
Enjoy your Easter week-end, and keep us posted on your new baby. Oh, Soph and I picked up one the other night while walking. She was starved and pitiful. We will show her when we have her all fattened up. She is such a sweetie, but will be an outside baby.

  8. Well Noreen, don't you look sassy in your new specs and short "do" to go with it! I am so over do on my hair as I had to cancel last appointment and did my own root touch up! I am crazy busy getting ready for our Easter celebration!
    Love to you!

  11. I'm so glad that you shared a picture of you in your new glasses. They're so cute ... and you look wonderful in them.

I'm sorry to hear that the pup won't be coming to your home ... but glad to hear that he does have a forever home. Perhaps it will work out better than you get your pup after your trip so you will have a nice long block of time to devote to getting him/her adjusted to his/her new home/family.

Wishing you and yours a very blessed Easter!
