Boys will be Boys

Morning Peeps, I just got back from a short bike ride, maybe 5 miles, and thought I'd share Hunter and Bentley's morning with you. Bentley arrived shortly before eight and the play time and tag began. He still isn't sure of the doggy door but I know know by next Tuesday, he'll have it mastered. They immediately went outside to play tag; the lawn was wet and of course they hit the beds-so if you look closely at Hunter's paws and legs-you will see one dirty pup. I was going to wash his legs but since the lawn is still wet, it won't do any good.

It didn't take Bentley long before he found one of Hunter's Bison bones. I'm not sure he's had a large bone before-you can tell he is enjoying it.

Lily doesn't get here until this afternoon; we will have one busy household. We have lots of events happening in our town this weekend. Concerts, races, Bulls on the Beach at hubby's golf course-like a mini rodeo for the kids. We have an all town parade on Monday and a craft fair as well. I know we will be at the concert and then join our daughter and family at the parade as well as the craft fair.
What are your plans for our long weekend?
Have a great Thursday!

  2. Boy, looks like you have been busy! Walking and dog sitting, too! What is it with white dogs and dirt? Bebe gets a bath and within 2 hours needs another one. Love your plans for the weekend- we have none at all.
Love your new treasures and those kitchens are just awesome. I would take any of them over mine. Its needs some TLC and a couple gallons of paint. We are debating the concept of that now and have been for 3 years. One of these days, I am just going to start it. Have a fun weekend!

  3. Sounds like lots of exciting fun coming up! It is pretty quiet around here. We are back into the 90's after a few days reprieve. It is too hot to go for walks during the day. We will get up really early tomorrow to take our pawrents running. BUTT, we are going to go on another little vacation in the little wheelie house in a couple weeks!

    Your Pals,

  5. Boys will be boys, and pups will be pups. Ciara and Lightning love to race through the wet grass too. You have a very fun and busy weekend ahead. We are hoping to get some cooler temps by Monday so we can enjoy the outside. Mom had a second shot today so no walk today:( Hopefully this one will help her a lot more.

  6. Busy, busy, busy! You're braver than I am ... I would have had to wipe Hunter's paws lest he track the mud and/or dirt into the rest of the house. ;-)

  8. That sounds like fun!
It's crazy-hot here, so walks before 7 a.m. then indoor games to keep the Sibes gainfully occupied. Hope to do some sewing, too!
