Happy Wednesday Friends~I am so very thankful to have gone on this adventure, I'm thankful for such a wonderful husband, I'm thankful that we have a good camera to get such great shots and I'm thankful that when pictures look blurry to me, my hubby is willing to step in and take photos. An original Dog Sled.
Isn't this the most beautiful coat you've ever seen? I know this garment would keep a gal warm.
Moving on to Denali National Park
We met Carol Charlie in Denali National Park where she gives daily talks about the Athabascan people and the five generations of her family who lived there. A wonderful story teller, she shared her rich history with us, giving us a close and personal look into growing up in the wilds of Alaska. Such a incredible experience to hear her!
I hope you've enjoyed my tour today.
Joy to you!

I was so excited to see you had posted today. I've always wondered what a coat like that would smell like. lol...a friend made one of our girls a beaver rug and it didn't smell too bad. I know you will love Denali...our Alaska friend has shared so many amazing pictures of all the beauty. Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteLoving your photos. Like you I loved Alaska and it seems we did almost the exact same tour. I will write ya more when I get back from licensing the car. :)

Wow! Don't know what else one could say about your awesome anniversary trip. You are a blessed woman! We will be celebrating 35 years next year, and were thinking about a trip to Tennessee. But I don't think that can hold a candle to Alaska. Glad you had an awesome time!!! I'm sure after 35 years, you've deserved it ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - they make us feel we were there with you.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful scenes and scenery. I love that the woman was a real storyteller. That can really bring something alive for you- xo Diana
