Happy Friday Friends~ Here at Nana's Dog Kennel, the kids are behaving themselves and having so much fun that the little guy, AKA Bentley, is so tired out and napping.
You will notice the beach towel on the chair with Lily; somehow there are now more scratches on our leather chair-so I'm hoping to protect it from more. Anyone know how to diminish scratches on leather furniture? When you have a dog or two, you just roll when this happens. It really isn't a big deal, just curious if anyone knows what to do to protect it from more.
Hunter has always loved laying underneath furniture; the sofa table was his favorite place when we first got him, but then he grew up. Now, he is always under this antique dresser; especially when he is trying to avoid a little Cairn monster....bol(for you non-dog folks it means bark out loud).
I've already been out combing the town for garage sales and also met a friend for coffee, to share about our cruise. She had me over before we left and showed me a video of their cruise.
When I got home, I was hoping to get out and weed but it has already gotten hot, so maybe tonight.
Hope you are coloring your world with love and happiness.

Happy dog sitting. You are a good "nana" to babysit another little barker! Blessings- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHi Noreen,
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Hunter is enjoying the company! The dogs are all so precious, and I'm sure they are fun to watch as they play.
I went back and enjoyed all of your photos of Alaska! William and I went there on a cruise in 2007 for our 30th anniversary. It is such a beautiful state. We really enjoyed our time there, though our trip was backwards from yours. We started in Vancouver and ended our trip in Fairbanks. I'm glad you had a wonderful time! Thank you for sharing all of your photos, and about your trip! Enjoy a lovely weekend! :)
How cute the dogs look. They have the right idea in this heat. We are finally getting a break here...the tropical heat is leaving!
ReplyDeleteNothing quite tires a pup out like another pup! :)
ReplyDeleteWhy do I think I've heard of people using shoe polish on leather furniture? Or orange oil. I don't have leather furniture, so I'm not sure, but I think there are all kinds of "fixes".
Over 100 here still at almost 8 o'clock this evening. Cam and Zim want no parts of being outside!

I just love those pics.....they are so dang cute! I guess a few scratches on the furniture is a small price to pay for such little sweeties! :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Noreen!! What fun for the pups and I hope you too! :-) We have a leather chair that the dogs scuffed up and I used a good quality leather conditioner that worked pretty well to cover/get rid of them.
ReplyDeleteThree little dogs. What fun!
ReplyDeleteI bet that three dogs are at least three times as much fun as usual :)
ReplyDeleteI love Hunter's nice cool hangouts under things. As for leather furniture, I don't have any great suggestions. We make our furniture off-limits to the dogs...
Hi Noreen, Just want you to know I am not ignoring you. My long mail note seems to have disappeared and now I am having internet issues. Hope to be back soon! Xo Jeanne
ReplyDeleteHunter, are you hiding?? No worries about the bandanna. It slips onto our collars and we NEVER wear our collars in the house (too dangerous with puppy play)!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Always enjoy when you share Hunter's adventures with his Amigos. Our summer heat has returned too, I guess to remind me that fall is not quite ready to make it's appearance. ~smile~
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sue
We go over our leather furniture with a product called Lexol that we get at a western (horse) store. It works great! Hugs, Beth
