Thankful Thursday

Good Morning Friends~I want to tell you how thankful I am for Apple-the company.  Yesterday, hubby and I drove down to the Apple Store in a shopping mall near Denver. I had never been inside one of their stores before; however was very familiar with the company because it started in a city called Cupertino, where we once lived.  You may recall that hubby and I both got IPhones this last year and then also got a IPad Mini after Christmas. We had issues with it and a call into a tech center didn't resolve it so we set up an appt. Can I tell you that I've never been in  a cooler store; I am not a techy by any stretch of the imagination, but this store was incredible(as I've been told all their stores are).  In a time when many stores don't have enough help, I'd say there were at least 16 sales people available.  What we found out I want to share because it could happen to one of you.  Apparently, our mini was doing "Ghosting"(had never heard of this before)where it acts like it has a mind of its own and does really weird crazy things.  It is a software problem and they took our mini in the back, deleted all the software and then reinstalled it.  We waited to make sure all the programs we had on it(not many)were on and running; we also went into several programs to see if we had any issues and didn't.  What an easy fix and now that I know where the store is, I won't hesitate to go back or even check out the store in Boulder.  They have made other high end stores pale in comparison.  I'm off this morning to bible study so must get a move on.  My confidence in Apple has doubled and I'm thankful that it was so easy to get our Mini fixed.
Hope you have a blessed day dear ones!

  7. That is so great to hear! I've never heard of "ghosting" either; I'm so glad they were able to straighten everything out for you.
We became Apple-a-holics a few years ago - but I've never been in an Apple store! Our town is too small - the closest one is in KC. That might not be a bad thing in a way. LOL.
