Happy Friday Folks, Our snow continued until late last night; the farmers will be thankful as I'm sure the ski areas will be as well. This year, for Christmas, we gave our girls families a weekend trip to the mountains; we started this tradition last year. So today we are headed to the high country.
This little guy could be the bunny that loves playing tag with Hunter in our yard; thankfully it is just a game of chase and not "this is dinner".
This is what the entire family will be doing tomorrow; well not the entire family, but those big enough for snow shoes. The rest will be in a back pack or a sled. Last year Kim and her gang choose not to join us; so this year we will have a large group.
Snow shoeing is much easier than cross country skiing but I do notice the elevation difference compared to Ca. We also are planning on playing lots of games and having fun in town. WE all love Estes and RMNP, anytime we are there we have a good time. Hunter will be sharing a "room/kennel" with Lily and Petrol will be there as well. Hopefully the dogs will keep each other company and not miss us too much.
Have a wonderful weekend dear ones!
It looks like y'all are going to have great fun! Be safe...ReplyDelete

I wonder if you could help me? If you have time, could you pop on over to my blog and give an opinion on my post about blog etiquette? I had a question and I'd love some answers from seasoned bloggers. Thanks so much :)
That sure looks fun to me!ReplyDelete
Really? Easier than cross country skiing? I would have thought the other way around...but....HAVE FUN!!! xo DianaReplyDelete
Looks like you're all in for a great time! We are supposed to get a big storm starting tonight. We got 4-5 inches of snow last night.ReplyDelete
Murphy & Stanley
Sounds like tons of fun. You know how much my MOM loves Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. So are Hunter and the rabbit friends?ReplyDelete
I can't remember if I popped in here already or not. I think my body ACHES has gone to my head. We got at least 14 inches of snow.ReplyDelete
Our daughter out there did some snow shoeing with my brother once but his snow shoes were OLD and she wasn't so thrilled but I told her to try again and to try the cross country. She is young and is VERY strong...I imagine she could enjoy the quiet of both of them very much. So fun you could get everyone together. I know you will enjoy the weekend!
What beautiful snow- how lovely, have fun! I've never been snow shoeing but it looks very cool!ReplyDelete
