Hey Hey Girls, It's Friday-yippee!!!  I would love to tell you that all my congestion is gone, but in fact it is still hanging on.  Last night I actually took a Muscinex DM, which wasn't a smart idea.  Last year the pharmacist had told me that were safe to take at night but let me tell you I hardly slept at all.  I still think the root cause is allergies but I'm wanting to be done with this.  Had a wonderful study yesterday and then pretty much kicked back the rest of the day.  For those of you whom I've missed visiting lately-please know it is just because I don't have much energy.  I hope to get caught up this weekend.
I've walked already this morning and going to head out to do an errand; later I plan to work on my study.  This weekend is another low key one; we will dogsit Lily on Sunday, since her family is having a superbowl party-Hunter will love it.  Other than that, I plan on trying to get back into the swing of things.
I hope your day sails by quickly, if you are working and that you have a fantastic weekend.
Hugs, Noreen & Hunter

  3. Well, I hope you get rid of that stuff soon. I had the same thing this winter. It was an infection in my deep sinuses -which I have never had before-and hope I never have again. It took a CT scan to find it though- xo Diana

  4. I'm sorry that you're still feeling crummy ... if it's any consolation, so am I. At least mine is from some kind of bug, so hopefully it will pass with time. I don't take cold medicines at night for the same reason ... I can hardly sleep - even with Tylenol.

Sounds like you're going to have a nice weekend.

  5. Sorry to hear about the congestion! We refer to Muscinex as "the nightmare pill" because of what it does to both my husband and me. Yikes!
Hope you get feeling better - sounds like a nice, relaxing weekend is just what the doctor ordered!

  6. Have you tried saline nasal mist at night? It sometimes helps a lot and there are no side effects. Hope you are back to normal soon. Have a great weekend!

  7. I don't know if the medication you took is anything like the old "Co-Tylenol" used to be (I think they called it "Tylenol Cold" now) but "back in the day", if I would take Co-Tylenol for congestion, I felt like I could not only clean my house from top to bottom but also 5 others houses too!! That OTC cold medication stuff wound me up tighter than a yo-yo! When I was diagnosed with hypertension in my early 30s, I had to stop taking that sort of thing. So I understand the feeling... it's awful!

Take care, dear friend, and hope you feel better with each passing day!

  11. Hi Noreen...I am sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling too good. It's hard to get around to visit everyone...I'm WAY behind in reading blogs and am trying to catch up on some tonight. Mucinex DM can keep people awake...in fact I think the last time I took it I was up all night! Sure hope you are feeling much better today and hope Hunter has fun with his pal! xo Jeanne
