From my heart and home to you and yours, Happy Valentine's Day. This is the second year in a row that I've hosted our girls lunch and craft. It was fun planning what craft we'd do. The girls all drew names of their cousins to make lunch for and it was such a treat to see what they made. There were yogurt parfaits, sandwiches, cheese and meat with crackers. Kim brought a lovely salad and rolls for Carrie, herself and me; I supplied hot apple cider and blueberry tea in English Tea Cups. Each lunch that the girl made included a dessert and I supplied some Hail Mary Coconut mini cakes(in case you haven't heard of these, they are gluten and dairy free and so good). Here is the table setting; aren't our granddaughters cute!
They made beaded hearts, either on pipe cleaners or jewelry wire. A variety of sized hearts were made~the original idea was to hang them from a window, but some made bracelets or headbands. I love seeing how creative each girl is.
All the decorations; I love having days like this.
I'm off now to a friend's home so she can help me with an issue on my latest quilt. Hubby and I will go out for Chinese food tonight.
I hope you had a day filled with love.
Blessings,
Noreen
