How has your week been so far?  How is your weather? I'm amazed that in parts of the east, there are heavy downfalls and flooding going on, while here in Colorado we've had five days of over 100 degree weather and new wildfires blazing around the state.  I've already been out walking; back to our 1.5-2 mile walks with Kam and Lexie, which tire pour Hunter out.  Next we go to swim lessons and then right before lunch we go to watch the grands, who will be exhausted by then, take their riding lessons.  The rest of the day is really open and it is supposed to only be in the low 90's today.
I hope your weather is affecting your health; there are many folks here who are having asthma from all the smoke in the air.
I'm thankful that we don't live in the beautiful foothills though, because we might be without a home.
I'm headed over to KB's blog, Romping & Rolling in the Rockies, to check on her.
Have a peaceful day.

  1. The weather is puzzling indeed. It's hot over here too and we are having our share of the fires. UGH! Stay cool and hydrated.

  2. Hi Noreen... and Hunter... and thanks for your visit... I am so sad over the wildfires in your state... we have many here in Utah right now too and the Forest Service planes are flying overhead constantly... prayers for all... I know you love quilts... the one you mentioned behind Tessy in my post today was actually made well over 100 years ago by my great~grandmother and I inherited it from her ... it is my pride and joy, thanks for mentioning it!... Happy Fourth of July next week to you... xoxo Julie Marie and Tessy

  3. It's going to be pretty hot here, too. Those wildfires are so scary ... it seems like they've been burning for forever now ... praying that the firefighters will be able to get them under control.

  4. It isn't so hot today, just perfect. But by
the weekend we will be near a hundred again! Let's all pray for rain to put out these fires!

  6. A most unusual weather pattern for us...has been mostly mild but I hear the hot and humid stuff is on it's way. Hoping the rain will put out the fires soon
