Can you believe it's Thursday already?  There is so much in this life to be thankful for; here are a few of mine today.
I am thankful for our dear little Hunter; what an incredible puppy he is. Maybe he isn't learning as quick as I'd like, but I love his joyful spirit and wonderful kisses.  I am thankful we finally found a kibble he likes!  Now if I could find a rescue or humane society to take the two bags that we hardly used, I'd be happy.
I am thankful that we are having cooler temps today, unfortunately the wind is already blowing and I'm concerned that this might wreck havoc on the firefighters.
I am thankful that what looked like a new furnace/ac unit was needed at our daughter's(one estimate was $6,000),turned out to be an easy fix and a repairman only charged $60.  Thank you Lord.
I am thankful that our dear friends will be coming for dinner tomorrow night and bringing her mom & dad from South Africa; this is the friend that got me my very own autographed copy of Maxdog.
I am thankful that I have a home to clean today, when so many have lost theirs in the fire.
My list could go on and on but I think I need to get a move on and start cleaning.
What about you, what things are you thankful for today?
I'm always thankful for the friends who read this!
Noreen & Hunter

  1. I am also thankful for Murphy and Stanley. They bring so much happiness and joy into our lives. It is so worth all the craziness that 2 pups bring with them every minute of the day. I bet Hunter learns faster than you realize. Are you going to enroll him in a puppy class?

    Your friends,

    Murphy & Stanley

  2. That is a good list! Have fun with your friends!!!

  3. I actually sat down and started writing a list of things I was thankful for - my hand got tired. Isn't the Lord gracious!

  4. That I am still breathing, life is wonderful & He never leaves my side.
What more can I ask for ...
    Have a lovely day ~

  5. I love all the things you are thankful for , Noreen! I am thankful that I found your blog and can follow along with your life as it unfolds- xo Diana

  6. Your list is a good one...especially the break your daughter got on her repair. Thank God! Enjoy the time with your friends!

  7. I am just trying to remember to be thankful for what I have, and not what I don't--I saw a quote a while back that said something like, 'others are happy with less than you have,' and it has proven to be a good reminder for me.

I hope you have fun and enjoyable weekend! :-)

  8. That Hunter is just a arm full of thankful for you. Makes me smile. My MOM gives dog food to our local human shelter and the local food bank. They are always glad to get some.

  9. How wonderful that the repairs were only $60, instead of $6,000! Wow!

Even when things seem bleak, we have so much to be thankful for. The Lord is so good to us.
