Happy Saturday to you! The last two nights I have watched as this magnificent moth has visited my petunias. At first, I thought it was a baby Hummingbird but on closer inspection I remembered my daughter had one of these in her garden last year. I had never even heard of such a moth but I'm so glad I got to see one up close and personal.
I know that if it had turned around and flew into me, I would have been screaming because of its size. The colors of the wings were so pretty too. I stand in awe again at His creation.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings, Noreen & Hunter

That is just beautiful. We too have never seen on or even heard of one before this. Thanks for sharing.

Guess who likes to chase butterflies and moths? Actually, all insects and bugs. Yes, Murphy is the one. Does Hunter like them? The boys have internal stitches that will dissolve of the next 2 weeks. The incision itself is glued. We quite like this as the surgical site is very clean looking and appears to be comfortable because for the most part they do not mess with it. Are Hunters stitches on the outside too?

It is amazing to watch these creatures. God has certainly created such variety, hasn't He?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend. I miss you too.

I love seeing these moths, which is not very often. I was calling them 'fairy moths' and I am not really sure what they are called but they sure are big!

My children and I used to love to watch the hummingbirds around my flowerbed of "pinks". Beautiful pictures. Awesome Creator!
ReplyDeleteWe have them here too, and like you, I enjoy seeing them--They really are an interesting little thing, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed beautiful. And oh so cool. God is indeed great.

Amazing photo! And amazing God who created it.
ReplyDeleteThose are the coolest moths! I saw one visiting Columbines in the San Juan's one summer. I was amazed by how beautiful and fast it was.
ReplyDeleteHi Noreen, just came by to say "hi" and see what you have been up to. This is so cool, and it has set something straight for me, last year we had one of these moths to visit us and I thought it was a baby hummingbird, but thanks to you I now know it was a hummingbird moth, who would have thought.
ReplyDeleteLoved reading some of your previous post, that hunter is precious, and seeing and hearing of the adventures was precious too!
Enjoy your trip this week.
Hugs,
Sue
