As many of you know, here in northern Colorado we've had a huge wildfire burning this weekend. We live in the plains but love the area that is burning; the smoke is filling the sky, we watch and pray for those loosing their homes. Last night the sunset was beautiful and here are two shots hubby got.
Today the fire has been classified at a level one which allows the state to get outside federal help for fighting it. The winds here are causing it to change course, thus making fighting it more difficult for the crews. What began as just 2 acres increased to 2,000 Sat.night and was up to 20,000 acres yesterday; we can only hope that fire tankers are sent in to help. Apparently, it is catching up with the damage of the fire in New Mexico.
Our hearts go out to those who have lost so much and we pray for the one person that has not been accounted for.

That is so sad. I think that fire is just so scary because it can change on a whim with the wind. Those are spectacular shots of the sunset. xo Diana
