Garage Sale Find

As I shared with you, last weekend was our town blowout garage sale. I happened to see this on Saturday and as I looked at it and the asking price of $20. a young college age gal told me I could have it for $10. Great bargain, I wasn't sure where it would go but for $10. I knew I'd find a place. As I counted out my money, she told me to stop at $9.00; it was a done deal. It is in my sewing room, needs a little cleanup but still very sweet. I will put sewing items in there and hope I don't forget! Our Hunter is still recovering from his time at the vet; in addition to getting snipped, he also had three baby teeth extracted. Can you say ouch! He is quiet and just wants to hide under the table; today we are taking him on a long drive up to Eagle, which is on the other side of Vail. Our friends who joined us for our birthday celebration have been at the daughter's home and we can't wait to spend some more time with them. Unfortunately, both hubby and I have commitments tomorrow so we'll head back this afternoon. Joy to you~Noreen & Hunter

  1. Wow, what a bargain! I'd say you got lucky in that deal! Glad Hunter is getting along. Did they glue his incision closed? We're doing well today too.

  2. Great find! Tell Hunter I hope he gets better soon. I am sure he will, but I'll be thinking of the little guy. I am sure he deserves extra treats for his bravery, just sayin'.

  4. Wow, that's a great find for just $9 - is the clock in working order?

Give Hunter another day and you will be amazed at how quickly he bounces back. You will have your hands full keeping him quiet:)
