The Legacy, Secret of the Shetlands Book 3 Review

Once again Michael Phillips has drawn his readers into this final book in the series, Secrets of the Shetlands.   The author has a way of weaving a story that draws you in, experiencing the rich heritage of the Shetlands and her people.  The characters are well developed and the story line rich.

I fell in love with the characters in this series in the first and second books.  The story goes back in time several generations and you see what happened in their lives and then the plot would tie it into the current character, David and Loni.  It even talked about WWII and how Brogan and his father worked for the allies.  I will say that personally, while the history of the boats in WWII was interesting, I wanted to get back to the main story line.  At times, I felt that it could have been two books.  However, I loved the story and am sad to see if ending; I'm sure the author will have more books that are similar.

I would rate this 10 out of 10.
