2 Legged and 4 Legged Family Fun

Happy August to you! Where has the summer gone? This last weekend, our daughters and their families went on their annual camping trip; in the past we always went to, but I need an RV and so we stay home with the pups. We do go up for lunch one of the days and it's always so much fun. Friday night found us downstairs watching a show and of course the three of four of the pups were snuggled next to hubby.
Saturday morning found the pups laying around-too much play time for them.  Here is Lily, age 10 and looking like a senior dog.  She is queen of the pack.
Copper, also known affectionately as The Moose.   Hunter and Petrol's pics weren't as good.
Swimming at the lake-it wasn't very warm, but the kiddos assured us that the water was quite nice.

One granddaughter, who well may become a biologist, found this leaf.  It was interesting and the markings looked like rings that a tree would have showing it's age.  I've never seen anything like it.
Going walking now~bring in August with a great day!
Hugs,
Noreen

  3. Fun time for the pups while the family has fun too:) What a very interesting leaf, it almost looks like it had a print stamped on it.

  4. Looks like four legged and two legged 'family' all had a lot of fun.

I have never seen a leaf like that either. You wonder if it might be some kind of fungus on it or something.

Hope you have a great week- xo Diana

  5. Wow, that is a very cool leaf! We didn't realize Lily was 10! How much does "the Moose" weigh now? How old is she?
