Rocky Moutain National Park

Happy Friday Friends~I hope your week has been blessed and filled with the warmth of love and family. I'm still experiencing some issues with Picasa but managed to get the photos uploaded a different way.

You can tell we were layered and bundled and I actually started to get warm on the way up. Must have been how hard I was working. We are planning on doing day trips throughout the winter; I think it will be a good break from packing. Now if this white stuff would stop falling here, I might actually be able to get my bike out. No worries-I will not ride if there is ice/snow on the ground; don't want to take any spills. We had our Kim and her kiddos over for dinner last night-such fun. Of course, Hunter was thrilled that Petrol came too. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! To those still experiencing winter, stay warm and safe.
Hugs,
Noreen & Hunter

  9. You know what we like in the Rockies? We like to go out on snowshoes at night. It is so quiet and still. Your pictures made us want to head up soon.

  11. Day trips are so much fun! DH and I are thinking about taking one next week ... DSIL is taking a few vacation days next week, so I've got a couple of days off. I've heard about a really wonderful fabric store about 2 to 2 1/2 hours from here in a part of Missouri that we've never been to. When I shared how I'd like to visit that shop - some day, DH suggested trying to get there next week. He's definitely a keeper!

  16. Turmeric is easy to grow.
Buy a piece of root at the grocery store and planted it in a pot, a big pot or ground,, come spring after all frost is over. It will take 4 or 5 months and is ready to harvest when the top leaves are brown. It really isn't costly tho when it does SO SO SO much for the body!!
Hope you will get some soon, it really is sent by GOD just for us to heal ourselves!! Our Lord made this woderful body that can heal it-self given the right tools!!! REALLY
It is also in the grocery store in root and you use it like ginder in your cooking.
