Happy Friday

Good morning to you!  Can you believe it is already Friday?  I well remember my parents saying that the older you get the fast time flies, I would definitely agree.  I decided to show you a couple of photos that are pretty random. The first is my early September decorations; I always decorate my treadle with seasonal decorations.  At this point, I wasn't ready for my harvest items to be out; but now I've always switched this out.

Here is our newest grandpup,Petrol.  I spent part of the morning with Kim and her girls yesterday-can you guess what I spent my time doing?  If you guessed petting this cutie you are right, but then I also helped the girls with her as well.
This weekend, may your days be filled with love and laughter.
Blessings, Noreen

  1. Good morning, dear! I love your decorations. I could smell the apple candle in the air.
Petrol is cute. This is the breed of dog that my parents have. You'll fall in love fast :)

  2. Thanks for your morning post. We think the pup is cute and love the decor. My Vickie doesn't even do decorations for Christmas, let alone spring and fall.....

But she takes me hiking everyday so I will forgive her.

    Have a nice weekend.

  3. Oh, now he is a cutie for sure!!
I love being with my puppy, Toby,
and he even helped me decorate for
autumn--not! He and my cats think
    all the decorations, especially the
    flowers, are to eat!

  4. Hello and thanks for stopping by. That sure is a cute little doggy. My new pot can be used for coffee or chocolate. Teapots are shorter and stouter in body with a shorter spout while coffee and chocolate pots are generally longer in body with a longer spout. I opted to use it for chocolate today because it's cool today. Wishing you a delightful weekend.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

Your treadle machine is lovely. I have one too, but it's a simpler design.
It's a good idea to make use of it for seasonal decor. I did that last year but have been in a rut lately. This is a good reminder to get with the program again!

  9. Hi Noreen. I love my pressure canner. The beauty of it is that it can be used for both pressure and water bath canning. We are at almost 4,000 feet above sea level, so when I pressure can, I make sure I can at 12 pounds of pressure rather than the 11 pounds the book recommends for sea level. Your local extension office probably has lots of information on canning. They can also test the accuracy of your pressure gauge even when the canner is new out of the box. We have a bumper crop of apples, so this week I will need to begin making applesauce. I have dried some apples already and they have turned out nicely. Have a fantastic Sunday.............Denise P.S. What is your elevation?

Your pup is PRECIOUS!!! OH MY!! I don't think I would get much done for wanting to hold him and play with him!!!

Hope your weekend was wonderful! Love you
