Last weekend I was unable to paint with hubby due to a mild case of vertigo so I was stationed on the patio keeping a watchful eye of him. This was the easiest way for him to paint the trim on the back of the house.
This shows a better perspective of just how high the roof line is-what a man I married!
We are on the downhill stretch now with just the trim on the front to finish and the garage door~boy does it feel good. I will take more photos of the front once it is finished-it is amazing how fresh and clean it looks and I think the house looks bigger because of the lighter color.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

  1. WOW!! I felt dizzy just looking at how high up he was! God bless him!!!

Looking forward to seeing even more photos. Love you dear one!

  2. Wow! That's high ~ no wonder you had vertigo ...

  3. Wow, that is high up! I'm glad God protected him. Whew!

  4. This is too cute. I had to show my hubby these pictures because he too paints our trim on our two story the exact same way. There simply is no other way unless you have a really large roofing ladder.

Can't wait to see the pictures of before and after!

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  5. Yikes, Noreen, that is one steep roof! He is one brave man!! Can't wait to see the finished job, bet it will look awesome!

  7. Oh my goodness! I would not be able to do that! That's WAY up there! I'm thankful y'all are in the home-stretch and this project is just about finished! :o)

  8. What a guy indeed! Not too many men would brave that roof line, let alone paint their own homes. Hats off to J!
Love you sweetie! You are such a blessing in my life!
    BIG Hugs!

  9. Oh my! I'm afraid of heights, and just looking at this photo makes me queasy...I can understand your vertigo. Good for your husband! Can't wait to see the finished job. :)

  10. I know you will be thrilled when he is finished, wow that is a long way up, my dh has vertigo too, and staggers like a drunk man at times, and he is a preacher and never drinks, lol it is rough, he needs me close by when doing anything in heights, hugs Barbara

  12. Noreen, I am glad he is safe back on the ground!
