Happy Tuesday to you! We had Lily here with us for about 6 days, while our daughter's family went back to California for a wedding. It is truly such a blessing to be so close and have the availability to take care of each others pups. Last night we were relaxing and watching one of the summer shows on t.v., both dogs were between us and ended up with their legs entwined. Today, Lily goes home; I know she'll be so excited, but I am thinking Hunter won't be as happy. This photo looks staged, but it wasn't. In fact, I was afraid that when I jumped up to get the camera the dogs might move; Hunter is on the right and Lily is on the left against hubby.
It is going to get up to the 90's today, so the girls, grands and I will be at the pool for part of the day. One thing I love about our new home is that we can leave the windows open at night and it is so peaceful. I've heard Coyotes a couple of times, but generally all you hear is crickets. However, if the temp rises too high, we might just have to turn on the air. I am so happy to have warmer days, but it also increases the risk of more flooding.
I hope you have a blessed day, rejoice in this day!

It's been in the 90's here for a good while ... way too early for such hot weather. But it's going to cool down into the upper 70's next week. While that's the other extreme, I am not complaining as I can't wait to be able to turn off the AC and open the windows.
ReplyDeleteAwww Lily and Hunter look so cute together. We bet Hunter will miss her. Have a nice time by the pool. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Good morning! That is such a cute picture of the pups. I will have to show my hubby later as he will appreciate it so. We are having glorious weather this week. Mid 80's! I am savoring it as it is bound to heat up soon. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteAh that is a sweet picture..it shows the love in your life.

What a precious picture of Lily and Hunter. I am sure by now Hunter is missing Lily.
ReplyDeleteI think it's wonderful to leave the windows open at night in the summer it must feel cool. over here it is HOT and HUMID although there are times when we feel the ocean breeze. but, for the most part we have our Ac units on.
Have a blessed day.

Aw, what a wonderful photo! We had to run the A/C one day but otherwise the windows are open so we can listen to the outside and bark when we hear a noise (or even if we don't hear a noise).

Hi Noreen. That photo of the pups sis so darn cute!!! Maybe Hunter needs a playmate? But yes, you are fortunate to have one another to care for the pups when away.
ReplyDeleteUp in the 90's? Wow....enjoy!!!
I would love to see pics of the new house!!!!

Love the picture of Hunter and Lily! They do bond after a while!! Chloe and LadyBug are somewhat the same...not all the time, but sometimes. Especially when one is not feeling particularly well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute photo :-) So lovely that Lily and Hunter can spend time together - they are such sweet dogs - woofs and licks from Magic xx
ReplyDeleteSweet friends. Hard to tell one from the other.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute pups! The time has long past for me keeping windows open at night, we are definitely in the throws of summer with temps about 108-110 each day this week. The good, the bad no matter where we live:) Hope you enjoy the pool, we will be in ours tomorrow!! YAY!! Have a blessed week, Cindy
