Dog Treat Review

Happy Wednesday friends. Last week Hunter got a special package in the mail from Mr. Chewy. Many of you participate in the program where you can have your dog sample products and you post a review on them. This is a great way to try different brands and products that you might not normally try. Andrew, who heads up the program, is a wonderful fellow and we are so thankful for this program. For June, I thought we'd try a brand we haven't tried before-Pure Vita freeze dried Beef Liver and Sweet Potato treats.
The treats are a good size as you can see.  Hunter loves anything sweet potato and he isn't really keen on beef, unless it is ground beef or steak.  Picky boy; but I have to say he has gotten a lot easier and less finicky that he used to be.
He immediately went for the sweet potato but after he finished it, he ate the Beef Liver.

I love this program and if you aren't familiar with it, check out http://Chewy.com

This morning has been busy; I took Hunter to meet two friends and their humans at our town lake. We thought we were getting an early start, but by the time we were finished it was already hot. This afternoon the temp is supposed to drop and get cloudy, so I wore jeans and a long sleeved t-shirt. I think I was as hot as the dogs. We came home, I changed and began helping hubby put up wire fencing-you see next week Petrol will be with us as my girl & her family will be away. Petrol, although a registered Miniature Schnauzer, is almost the size of a toy. The other day the family was here and Petrol got out of the wrought iron fencing. Thankfully, she came when I called-but still it worried me. So hubby finished up putting the chicken wire up while I weeded and helped in small ways.
We have a meeting with our Realtor this afternoon, it should be interesting.
I hope you have a chance to enjoy some sunshine today.
Blessings,
Noreen & Hunter

  2. Oh, we remember those chicken wire days BOL! We are reviewing those same treats tomorrow! The boys loved them. BTW, the photo was taken in our living room (the walls are not really that ugly color, had to use a flash). It was windy and there was a lot of dust in the air so part of the valley below just sort of disappeared. Me and Stanley met a big Newfie last summer. Even though he was very nice he was so big we were scared to death! Good luck Hunter!!

  4. Thanks for sharing. We love finding new treats for our pup to try. I couldn't find information about trying products in exchange for a review on their site. I would definitely be interested in that.

  5. We did that this week as they said it would rain and ended up for over two hours in the park with a jacket on in the baking sun. Talk about boil in the bag. Hope your meeting goes well. Have a tremendous Thursday.
    Best wishes Molly

  6. Whenever, I have to buy dog's rawhide. I consider the following things: size, weight of dog and its physic too. I am searching for organic dog chews, now I am glad because I found it on your blog. My friend suggest me that besides giving these chews if you want to keep your dog healthy then, he needs plenty of fresh water and should be fed good quality dog food in amounts just right to meet his energy requirements.
