Winter is here

The fluffy white stuff started falling last night around dinner time.  I was so uncertain of Hunter's reaction to it since we got him in May I wasn't sure what he thought of it. Well, it doesn't seem to bother him at all; he just wants to play and eat it. Silly dog! It is better than him not wanting to go out though.  I even put his little fleece coat on him but he isn't used to it yet.
I'm off to my study this morning and then will have a quiet inside day.  Thankfully the snow is supposed to stop by tomorrow; it just seems early to me to be getting it.  I hope you have a great day!
Joy to you,
Noreen & Hunter

  1. It's snowing here again this morning. So I am sure it will head your way. Glad Hunter likes the snow. I like to roll my own snowballs with my nose and then flip them in the air and catch them.

  2. I remember how much our last dog LOVED the snow. She came in with mini snow balls covering her little belly. We have never done the clothing thing until one of our girls bought a striped sweater for Molly. She tolerated having it put on but we think she has some Chow in her so she LOVED it when we took it off. We had nothing last year snow wise so maybe we'll have some pretty snows this year.

  4. It's so sweet to watch our pups go through their "firsts"! Sounds like Hunter is a confident guy, accepting new changes in stride! What a good boy!
Enjoy the snow! We went from in the 80s yesterday to in the 40s today. Crazy Fall weather! :)

  8. Our temperatures dropped over 30 degrees in the last 3 hours ... it is 81 at 4:30 and is now 49. DH kidded me that we're going to get snow instead of the rain in the forecast. ha!

Seriously, I love snow ... and am looking forward to our first snow. I hope we get more this winter than we did last winter. ;-)

  11. Hi Noreen! Snow already....it does seem early! Especially because we were about 25 degrees higher than normal today...we actually hit 81 which is unheard of for late October in Upstate NY!! We are supposed to be getting the big storm next week so the temps will cool right back down. Hope you enjoyed your day inside and Hunter is enjoying playing in the snow! xo Jeanne, Chloe and LadyBug

  12. Gosh...snow already! I think that Scotland is suppsed to have snow over this weekend but we are in for some sunshine for a change! Isn't it funny how animals can take some things in their stride and then other things, that you think they will be happy with, freaks them? Joan
