Happy Afternoon~ Many of our furfriends asked to see Hunter in the snow, so here is he; at least two photos are of him alone and the rest are with his cous' Lily.
I also took him on a walk after this playtime and he ended up with snow balls on his feet and legs, making walking somewhat hard. I brought him back and put him in the sink right away to get rid of all the snow that had collected on his feet, legs and stomach. He doesn't feel fearful anymore. I should have had coats on them so you could see them better but at least you get to see two Bichons blitzing in the snow.
Happy Day!

Mom says you are so lucky Hunter loves the snow. Her little white cockapoo hated it. It seems like a lot of small dogs don't like it. Wish we could be there to do zooomies with you. Our snow will be a long time coming.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend.

Whoa, Hunter and his cousin are totally zooming in that crazy snow!! How fun!! The OP are right, most of the little dogs that Domeek has lived with hated the snow, so it's awesome that Hunter likes it so much! :-D
ReplyDeleteHUNTER!!! Isn't it GREAT?!?!? I wish I could come do zoomies with you and teach you how to build really cool snow forts!

Hello Noreen!! Your fun pictures are why I can't wait for the snow to fall--I love watching dogs have fun in it!! But for now, I'm content with their playing in the leaves!
ReplyDeleteI hope your week is ending on a good note--I'm still trying to get that picture for our Christmas card!
Wow - that is some great action in the snow!! If only we could all meet at the snow and we could all run and dance in it! Our snow is melting today so now we have mud. Of course we like mud too but our humans aren't too wild about it.
ReplyDeleteYour bestest friends,
Murphy & Stanley

Oh YEA!! I told you Hunter you were going to love the zoomies with a friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

I love to see your dogs so happy in the snow. My dogs love to play in the snow as well :)
ReplyDeleteSnow? Looks like Winter has arrived in earned.
ReplyDeleteI have to chuckle: those adorable pups are almost camouflaged by the snow with their white fur. Cute!
It sure looks like they had a spectacular time! I'm so glad that you had Lily there with him so he would learn that snow = fun. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's glorious to see Hunter zooming in the snow!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if this is possible but our K used to get ice balls on her paws. I'd trim her paw fur between her toes to keep it very short and prevent ice balls. Boots work too but many of our furry friends don't like them!
Hi Noreen...so, so cute! Our weather has turned colder ... but no snow yet! Weekend Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThat snow looks so beautiful <3 I wish I was there

Oh how fun. Sweet memories of our Snuffie....I remember the snowball belly. I just love watching dogs play in the snow. We didn't have any last year, but the year before we brought our new adopted dog Molly home in March and 3 days later had a big snow. She was so funny jamming her snout down into the snow....head almost disappearing. Dogs are so fun and playful. I'm glad Hunter is adjusting well to this new thing in his world.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! They look like two snowballs in the snow!!
ReplyDelete: ) Happy Weekend!

We love watching (and participating in)snow zoomies!! What works for Chloe and LadyBug...the blow dryer! As soon as we come in from the snow, Chloe will RUN into the bathroom to have her feet dried on low with the blowdryer...it is her favorite thing to do!! We should be getting our share of snow soon too!

Snow? Ohhhhh... I wasn't sure where you lived until just now...obviously, in the North Pole. ☺
ReplyDeleteMy Molly does not like the snow as well as your Hunter does. She'll be quite wimpy about the entire thing.
You have had a lot of snow in CO - only a few brief snowfalls here in MT, and I do look forward to the moisture. I love the photos of Hunter and his cousin in the snow, as they are such little snowballs themselves! Our Lucy loves to play in the snow, too, running wild as if it is just for her.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you all,
Laurie
