Shaggy Tuesday

Good Morning Friends~ Here in Colorado, it is a cool 42 degrees.  I am now wearing sweats in the morning instead of shorts; even pulling up a quilt during the night and early morning hours.
Although Hunter is just one adorable pup, can you tell how shaggy he's gotten?  Oh and the tangles, even with brushing.  Hunter goes to the groomer tomorrow and I get to go today-to my hair gal.  It has been so long since I had my color done; I'm going to keep it as close to natural as I can but I do need some subtle highlights in front to brighten my face.  I'm excited that Hunter goes in tomorrow; seems like his hair is getting longer faster-maybe it is his adult hair.  In case you are thinking that it is fur, Bichon's have hair like poodles.
I've got to get out and work Hunter this morning; he does have a short attention span though and lets me know when he is done; I laugh at him and tell him I'll decide(of course I decide not too much after that).
Have a wonderful fall day; oh yes, snow is in our forecast for Friday and Saturday-really, I'm just not ready for it.
Hugs, Noreen & Hunter

  1. SNOW....oh dear. I hope my daughter is ready for this new life style. (c: I don't think I've ever thought about dogs having fur or hair. It's really chilly here in the mornings but later this week we are heading into the mid 50's for a high. WOO HOO!!!!

  3. He is so cute Noreen! I need to get Ducey in for a good grooming. I usually do him myself, but I don't cut his toenails. He needs to have that done, and a good professional grooming. He, like Hunter, has hair, not fur.
I smiled at the though of you needing your sweats in the morning, and a quilt in the night.
Have a lovely day. Snow...so soon?

  9. We think you are a day behind us in this cold front that is coming through. But today we will see 81! We went for a walk today and pooped out after 2.5 miles. Actually we were pooped before then but it took that long to get back to the truck. We did have a fun start to the day because the neighbor's sprinklers got stuck on (again) and caused a muddy mess on our side so we got to play in the mud. We hope you and Hunter like your new furrs after you get cuts!

    Your friends,

    Murphy & Stanley

  10. I can't even begin to think about snow but our temps are cooling. We keep our pup clipped close in the summer I hate the tangles but in the winter we let him get shaggy to help him keep warm. I like the shaggy Hunter
