Winter Is Back

Last night it began falling, very lightly, and it continued to fall throughout the night and this morning.  Love it when we can stay inside all day but I also look forward to the sunshine.  We have another month or two of this before we can even hope for spring.

Hubby and I haven't gotten out yet to shovel the driveway or walkways but I know we will. Actually, in our development we can wait until it stops snowing before shoveling the sidewalks, but the longer you wait the more snow you might have thus giving you more work.
I hope you have a warm winter weekend!  Noreen

  2. It's snowing here!!! I am sitting here watching the most beautiful big flakes falling! It's beginning to stick on everything except the pavement so that's good. The roads are clear. The weatherman is saying no accumulation but at least I am loving seeing this gorgeous white stuff come down.
    Blessings on your weekend!

  8. Love it! As long as there's power & warmth, no need to drive, a good book & some chocolate, snowy days are my fav.

  9. I am with Sassy Granny...as long as you have heat and food, I'd take advantage of all the inside things you like to do....The snow is so beautiful....It's getting very cold here but there's no call for snow so I guess we will just bundle up and stay warm....

  12. I love the snow! I'm wishing for a REAL snow fall here! So far, they've all just been teasers. One of the big reasons that I love snow is that it's a perfect excuse to stay inside and quilt, while watching God blanket the earth with whiteness. I'm praying for a nice snow fall before spring arrives.

In the meantime, we've got *cold* weather here ... got awfully close to single digits overnight here.

    Enjoy your snow.

  13. Beautiful snow, Noreen, stay warm, good excuse to sew~smile~ We haven't had any snow this season, though it has finally gotten cold but I am reminded by our weatherman that winter isn't over yet.
    Enjoy your day.
    Hugs,
    Sue
