Happy Friday Friends, Our spring like weather disappeared and we started getting snow last evening; I have to say though that this photo was from our last storm in Oct. and this storm hasn't dumped that much snow.
Hubby and I were out first thing this morning, shoveling the driveway and it really wasn't that bad. Our state can really use the snow, the farmers are so happy because it will help with crops. We have such a delightful dry winter, with hubby golfing almost every week, that we really can't complain. We are planning on staying in all day, I'll be cleaning and also working on the quilt while he'll be watching a golf tournament on t.v.
Of course, Sunday is the Super Bowl and it should be a good game to watch. We aren't pulling for either team, as much as we would if it was a favorite team, but still looking forward to seeing who wins.
I hope you have a weekend filled with wonder.
Blessings, Noreen

When I saw the picture with all the snow, I wondered if you had been making any snow angels.....I bet your grandkids would love that.....
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the weather...we have not even had a misting of anything except rain....I want some cold weather to kill the bugs because they get so bad here in the summer if we don't have some cold weather in the winter....Oh well, we'll see if God chooses to bring us any of that white stuff....
Have a great weekend....
We have lots of snow...

I don't remember my kids fighting that much!!! really!! but there was 2 not 4 and one boy and one girl...and the fact that I was a very HANDS on mother...meaning I was there with them or planning something... oh well
Well, your weather made our NEWS up here in the Pacific Northwest.
ReplyDeleteWe're watching the Big Game too!
I watch for the commercials and some of the fun things they show before hand.
Go Team!
Good morning! I am wishing we'd get a little rain or at least some cooler weather, though I might be alone on those wishes. The weather is GORGEOUS! It's just that it is spring weather, and we have never really had much of winter. Makes me thing summer might be a scorcher. So. Cal needs the rain soo bad. Oh well, guess we will just see. Mel's big team is the Patriots, so she is excited and we are rooting for them for her. Have a good week-end, and enjoy the game! HUGS
ReplyDeleteYour snow scene is lovely.

ReplyDeleteI sure wish we'd get some snow here.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be watching the game on Sunday ... DH will be interested ... me not so much, although I will be interested in seeing the commercials.
I've got a cold that hits me pretty hard mid-afternoon, so by the time I get my housework chores done, I don't have as much time to work on piecing the top as I'd like. It'll get done sooner or later. ;-) I hope you'll share a picture of your quilt - I'd love to see it!
hi sweet friend, love that photo, it gives me great reminders why we moved from Michigan to Florida, lol not fun to be out in, I love my weather, it is very warm an sunny, gathered some more greens today from my garden and took a photo of my first strawberry.
ReplyDeleteLoving it, hugs my dear and have a good day in what you are doing.
That is the thing about winter here, just as you get used to the warm sunny days, along comes a storm like this. The best I can tell we had 12 inches, it was hard to find a level spot we had so much drifting.
ReplyDeleteSnap! Its snowing here as well :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo from last year, hope you are enjoying the beautiful snow, I thought of you today when I heard on the news of the snow. Take lots of photos, stay warm.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sue

Wow, that is a lot of snow! We used to live in Montana and I remember bunkering down for storms. Now we are in sunny Southern Arizona and I don't even own a pair of snow boots!Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteOh my, you can keep the snow, lol. It is in the mid 50's here with a mild wind, and I am wrapped up like you wouldn't believe. I don't know how I would handle your weather, but sure hope your keeping warm. Enjoy your super bowl party with friends tonight!
