Camping In Estes Part 1

After last years rain that we experienced while camping, hubby decided to cover our screen room.
Little Miss Sunshine sweeping the ground.
Boys doing what boys do best-chopping wood.
 Cousins playing...such a sweet relationship.

Little Miss O reminds us so much of her mama.
This little one is the spitting image of mama Carrie.
Sisters discussing what to create.
WE had a wonderful time and the weather cooperated!  This state park is a wonderful spot, albeit a bit rustic for my standards but then I/we did enjoy sleeping in the motor home.  Somehow we didn't get photos of the rig but I could get really used to camping like this.
Have a blessed Monday my friends.

  3. Wonderful. What a great way for a family to vacation without breaking the bank!
I'm glad you liked the motorhome. It's a great thing to have when it rains or the wind blows.
We call our 5th wheel camper "Prozac on wheels" because camping lifts our spirits in general.
When we bought our camper on Craig's List, my husband thought I was silly because I wanted a camper that will work with grandchildren someday. It has a shower with a high enough shower pan that it can work as a little bathtub too.
    Have a great week.......Denise

  4. The pics of the grands are soo cute! They are just adorable. I am soo glad the weather cooperated and you had a good time. YAY!! I think I could camp too IF I had a motorhome...my tent days are over I am afriad, haha...I soo wish you'd lived near me for soo many reasons. But one of them is today I told my hubby I am going to attempt to make a REALLY small quilt. I have wanted to know how for just forever...I am going to just kind teach myself I think, haha. At least some of it. I might have to "pick your head" occasionally, and it might end up in the trash pile, but I am going to try. Hope you have a wonderful week my friend! HUGS
