Happy Tuesday to you. Today is the day I go to my strength training class and try to build up my bones; unfortunately I haven't been as disciplined as I was at first or should be. I'm hoping to start walking again to continue to stay in shape. This afternoon I've got to get out and start working on the yard-you know picking up all the left over crab apples; this year we had an abundant amount that fed the birds and our dog but I should probably pick up the ones that are still on the ground. I've fed all the plants and they are coming up nicely plus I do need to get some plant trays and start my seeds so that by the end of the month I will be ready to put them in the ground. A neighbor told us he has several plants-mainly herbs that he is getting rid of and wants us to take them and he also has a couple of rose bushes. I love old roses that are easy to care for and I'm got a couple of places for them. I want to make sure I get rid of any weeds taking hold and gather up all the leaves etc from winter. The day should warm up and since I love spending time in the sun I think it will be fun. Hubby will be working all day and golfing in between so I can pretty much do what I want today.
Here is one of my favorite verses:
One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple.
Blessings on your day.

Sounds like you are keeping busy with yard work (o:
ReplyDeleteI have walked almost everyday for 6 weeks. I really need more than that though.
HI Noreen,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you came by for a visit. Did you go back one post?? I had a couple of pictures of our Strawberries on that post. We are having the best berries this year!!
Are garden is coming along so fast, we already have 3 tomatoes that have set fruit
so in a couple of weeks we will have home grown tomatoes!!!! Last year it was May when they ripened.

My goodness Noreen, does this schedule sound familiar, I am glad that your weather is breaking where you can get out and work in your garden. Roses are one my favorites too, but lavender has become my plant for this year, I plan to increase my plant bed.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the exercise, I have been a little slack lately due to the wind and pollen, but like you I must get back. Now, enjoy the fine weather.
Hugs,
Sue
