The End Of The School Year

Good Morning Friends! Every year in May our grands have an end of the year party and show & tell, highlighting their favorite projects throughout the year. It gives us a glimpse of their passions and gives them the opportunity to share in a large group what they've accomplished. Here are some glimpses into the program that was held last Friday night. To begin with, the oldest granddaughters proudly showed their completed pillowcases. I love how each girl's reflects their personality.

Here were the doll quilts that they made back in Feb/March.
There was a variety of paintings and art work as well, but I loved the Bald Eagle.
Little man playing.
Our oldest demonstrating some  principles of electricity.
Younger brother loves history and did one of his reports on WWII
Examining what a rock from a meteor might look like.

The entire group; we should have a one room school house.  Love how very excited all of the children are about learning.  I love how the parents can also center in on their passions.
Needless to say we are so proud of the entire group!
Hugs,
Noreen

  1. That is so neat. Children are so ready to learn so many things and it's refreshing to see parents who focus on that learning.
