Blue Monday

For all of you that aren't football fans, today will just be a normal day.  For those of us Bronco fans, today is a sad day.  The Broncos did make it to superbowl but sent the wrong team in.  We hoped that the game would turn around in the second half, but by the fourth quarter we turned it off.  I will say that I was disappointed in the ads this year; we did miss the Budweiser commercial with the puppy but all in all, we felt that they were not as good as previous years. The half time performance of Bruno Mars was good, but Red Hot Chili Peppers should have been left out.  Glad our grands hadn't arrived yet.  It was such a disappointing game to say the least; however they are still the 2nd best team in the NFL.
I will say the only other game this season that was as bad was when we played the Chargers in Dec.  That evening will go down, in my book and perspective, as one of the worst I've had in a long time.

O.k. so on to a good note.....the sun is shining and although we have snow on the ground, it is so pretty out.  We are supposed to have snow most of the week and so that means there will be more packing and purging.  Most of the packing is done, but my sewing room still needs some work and I should go through some of my clothes and get rid of them.
I hope you had a great weekend and now we can all focus on the Olympics!
Go USA.
Hugs, Noreen

  3. The game was not even close, which made for a very uninteresting game. I waited patiently for my fave ... the Bud commercial and finally ... there it was. I told Gary, it's a shame because many had lost interest in the game by then and probably turned it off. I think they should have had it run earlier in the game. I was not much impressed with the other commercials.
Snow here. ugh. So ready for spring ;-)

  4. I agree...I turned the game off after that first score in the second quarter! I didn't watch 1/2 time, not sure what I was doing. So sad :( Hope you enjoy finishing your packing and purging, I have been in my home for 19 years, I can't imagine what it would be like to have to move, oh my, I would be BUSY!!

  5. I'm sorry that you had such a rough night. I don't like football so I skipped it... and I guess it's a good thing.

It was a beautiful day, wasn't it?

  8. I was hoping the Broncos would win. Because I am a fan of Manning but mostly because I really dislike many of the Seahawk players. Too bad it ended so lopsided.
