Good Morning Friends, I hope you had a wonderful, warm weekend! For the most part, we stayed inside much of the time; it was too cold to be outside. Well, did you watch the opening ceremonies on Friday night? We did and were so impressed with the costumes, music, parade of Nations and of course the history of Russia. I was so proud of our athletes; I can tell you that having gone to the Olympics as a spectator, there is nothing like it. We are taping most of the events and yesterday watched ice-skating, snowboarding and have ice-dancing recorded.
We also watched the video Last Vegas; the stars did such a good job. While the content wasn't something I would typically watch, the cast made it hysterical. I wonder if Deniro or Douglas will be up for an academy award.
Not sure what is happening today; the sewing room is packed and half of the basement has been stacked, vacuumed and organized. Hunter seems to be handling all the boxes well; our last two dogs would have been so stressed.

Well, that Olympic thingie, we have not watched a lot. If you don't have cable, and only get evening, well lets just say we are not into figure skating!

I am totally loving the Olympics. I invited my mom to come hang out with me for the entire 18 or so days. It's nice to watch with someone! Enjoy your week :)

We have watched some of the Olympics and have enjoyed the ice skating and the short coverage of the biathlon which my husband enjoys. I actually like curling although I am into other sports much....Sunshine and bitter cold here but the sunshine is nice!

ReplyDeleteI watched my Ts swim instead of the Opening Ceremonies. I would have liked to have seen the Opening Ceremonies, but I wouldn't have missed seeing my Ts swim for anything!
We enjoyed Last Vegas too! Which reminds me...I now have two movies that I haven't reviewed yet. Love watching the Olympics and enjoying every minute!! I just love the skating!! Glad to hear Hunter is handling the packing. Hugs, Jeanne and the girlz
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed the movie Last Vegas and the last time we were in Vegas we staying at the Aria which is where they filmed it. I loved the opening ceremony, it was perfection. Their choreography is excellent, like a mirror image. Also the colors were amazing.
