Yesterday was a busy day but one filled with joy! Finishing my ladies study was bittersweet; at this time of year it feels good to have one more free day, but still I just love the discipline of a weekly group study.
Last night hubby and I got a quick bite to eat before we watched the Broncos do what they've been doing-namely beating their opponents. Even though we came from California, we never liked the Raiders and were happy the Broncos beat them.
Today is a day filled with errands and then we have so dear friends coming for dinner. It will be an easy dinner of bbq chicken(even if it snows), vege's and the gals will bring rolls and a salad. I made cheesecake yesterday and it should be set up perfectly, by tonight. I may take a picture or two of our table, because I've felt neglectful of posting photos.
Here in Colorado, it's beginning to look alot like Christmas and I couldn't be happier. Actually, I could if the flu bug floating through our daughter's church would bypass our grands(it has already hit three) this nana would be happy.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this season.
Blessings, Noreen & Hunter
What fun - dinner with friends. I can't wait to see how pretty your table is. Praying that the flu bug will fizzle right out. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHAHA those goats are a joyful bunch. Made us laugh. I am sure when the Chistms season is over you'll be right back into the swing of things as far as disciplined study. Have a beautiful weekend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gosoe
Good morning! The video was just darling! Soo cute...I had a REALLY hard time giving up my ladies study at the church, and the one we are doing here is on a small break. Hope your grands escape that bug! So much going around this time of year. Enjoy your week-end!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is about goats, but they sure to make me smile! :) Thanks for posting the video!
ReplyDeleteWe watched part of the Broncos game, too! Yea! We MIGHT see a little snow here Sun/Mon. My guess is that it will be rain, if anything, but that's just me. And we NEED the rain, so it would be most welcome!
I hope to do some Christmas decorating today; Dave has a check up this afternoon, so it depends on how long that takes! I need to/want to get this place ready to celebrate! :)

ReplyDeleteI guess the flu is really going around all over the country. Hope it slows soon. I am hungry or cheesecke. I had a lice of a Dulce de leche one the other day that was amazing. Joy to you my friend.
ReplyDeletePraying that your grandchildren stay healthy during this busy season.
ReplyDeleteLove the cute video!

LOVED the goats! They are so fun and playful! Loved it when the one gray goat pushed the other one off the roof!!! You know I want a goat in the worst way, right?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your dinner party, and I hope the bug skips over your family!!!!

Hi Noreen! Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned. I sure do hope that your grands don't get the flu before Christmas. What a cute video!! xo Jeanne, Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteBOL! Cute video! We are catching up on blogs. Not sure how we got behind. Sometimes mom just goes into a daze when she spends time with me and the hours fly by! My cuteness affects her brain she says. Sorry to inform you that our weather is cold, windy, and supposed to snow. And you know it will be coming your way so get out your long johns!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Aw those goats are so cute the way they bounce around!!
ReplyDeleteOh and drop by, I've got something for you:)

Hey there Noreen,
ReplyDeleteI received your 'comment' off my blogpost this morning...and this sense of 'I just want to be with you guys at the moment' prevailed. Please send my love to Barry and Avril. I'm sure you had lots of fun over dinner. Oh how I wish you were closer.
Enjoy your weekend, my friend, and the build up to Christmas.
Lots of ((Hugs))
