Happy New Year to you; I hope you all had a great weekend filled with fun activities and that you are ready to start the new year off on the right foot. Saturday found me taking down all our Christmas decorations and packing them away for another year and boy did it tire me out!  Usually hubby and I take everything down on New Year's Day but this year I just wanted to get it done.  My cold isn't too bad but it has zapped all my energy.
Yesterday I vacuumed up all  the snow from my two villages and then we just kicked back and watched the football games; we were hoping the Broncos would win but at least they got into the playoffs.  I hope to be back by your blogs today and in the coming days, once I get rid of this cold-sinus thing and get my energy back.
I hope we all have a year filled with joy, adventures, contentment and blessings.
Hugs, Noreen

  1. Good morning...I we took down the Christmas decs a little early this year too. We also usually do it on New Year's day, but with it falling on a Sunday we knew we wouldn't have the amount of time it would take what with church and all. Soo we took it all down Friday...took ALL day too. Couldn't believe it. Takes longer and longer every year, or maybe we are just getting slower and slower, haha. I am glad to have it done. But between putting up later than usual, ans taking it down sooner, it really wasn't up long this year it seemed. My hubby is off today so we are off to the movies. Hope you have a good day, and feel better soon....HUGS

  9. I took our tree down on Dec. 26, but the rest of our Christmas decorations are still up. I need to ask DH to bring up the storage boxes from the basement and get those put away ... tomorrow. Today is quilting day.

Hope we both get over the cold/sinus thing we've both got going on. ;-)

  12. Happy new Year Miss Noreen! Thank you for visiting me today!

I also took down my Christmas early this year. It was all packed up by the 27th and it felt so good. My hubby normally does the repack but with school on the horizon I just did it alone. I'm faster at it anyway! :)

Blessings to you sweet lady. Hope 2012 is wonderful for you and those you love. God is sooooo good!

    Love, Rebecca
