Beautiful San Juan Island, entering Roche Harbor; particularly fun because my maiden name was Roche.

This is a small store that you see when entering Orcas Island by the ferry terminal.
Have a blessed Tuesday; I'm getting ready to quilt because snow is predicted for tonight and all day tomorrow.
Hugs, Noreen

  1. Thanks for sharing your San Juan Islands trip. At one point we considered moving there, but it is hard to find jobs there. The islands are so beautiful.

It looks like you picked the perfect time for your trip. Fall appears to be peaking there. It's such a beautiful area!

  9. Beautiful scenery on your trip! and give Rex a big hug from us on his 13th birthday. We need to enjoy all the time we have left with our dear dogs.

Snow is closing in on Anchorage. I feel we will have snow in town any time. There was snow in the Turnagain Pass today, which is about a 2 hour drive from our house. Glad my snow tires are on!

  10. OOPS! I mean Reggie!

My sister's late dog was Rex. I often refer to Rex. I feel like he still is with us. He was a very powerful but kind all white German Shepherd. Very devoted to my sister. He had been dumped off as a puppy near her house and she took him in. Rex was with her for 14 years, very loyal and devoted to her. Hated people swimming in the pool! He would run all around the pool barking until everyone got out!
