The High Places

Greetings friends,  On Sunday hubby and I took a drive to the mountains and it was the most incredible day.  We were hoping to see some wildlife but didn't but we did see the beauty of God's creation-the mountains, blue skies and lots of snow up high.
We loved the way the wind was whipping the snow around-it looked very misty.

I'm not sure I'd want to live up in Estes because of the crowds and the large amounts of snow but I tell you
it is my favorite place to go to be refreshed.  We bought our annual pass to the park and come spring I plan on the two of us spending more time up there hiking.
Have a blessed day!
Hugs, Noreen

  1. We visited Estes Park & RMNP this past June. That was my first trip to the Rockies ... and I have to say that I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I was blown away by the majesty of God's creation in the mountains ... in a way that I am not by the ocean (even though I still prefer the beach). I hope that we can get back to the Rockies some time in the near future.

Wishing you a blessed week leading up to the New Year.

  12. OH MY Goodness! Such beauty!! There really is something about snow that is so refreshing...For me, it is the peacefulness in watching it fall, or maybe just the beauty it brings as it covers everything in its path. Our God is soo amazing and to think HE created it knowing how it would move us. It turns us into kids again with the Joy that it brings :)

Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures! I am so glad to know you were able to experience it all with your honey by your side!!

    Love you
