Good afternoon dear friends,  Oh what a Life filled day.  There are so many things in this life to be thankful for and with Thanksgiving just a week away we need to keep our focus above.
Today I'm especially thankful that no matter how old a person is, or how long(or short)they've walked in faith, we are never to old to learn new things from above.  I am thankful for the teaching of Beth Moore and the many applications she gives us in her lessons.
I am thankful that I got to discover a new store today that is home decor at warehouse prices and it's not too close in proximity to me.  They had marvelous things and I was able to get a few Christmas gifts for family at a very reasonable price.
I am thankful that I wore several layers of clothing today, even though the forecast was for the mid-60's, it is right about 45 degrees and a bit chilly.
I am thankful I got to watch Throwdown with Bobby Flay and the Pioneer Woman last night-so good to see how chefs prepare a Thanksgiving meal.
I am thankful for our dear friends coming to visit this weekend.  I'm also thankful for my girl friend from Ca. coming to dog sit for her brother for 3 weeks; I'll get enough loving from 15+ dogs that I'll be grateful we only have one.
I am thankful for family times and the love of a good man.
I am thankful for never ending Mercy and Love.
Blessings to you this day.
Noreen

  1. I'm so confused on who has 15 dogs...GLORY...that makes me tired. I too watched the Throw down and I'm changing up our menu for Thanksgiving. I thought his Pumpkin Bread Pudding sounded amazing...I found the recipe and I'm going with it instead of the obligatory Pumpkin Pie. http://www.bobbyflay.com/contents/recipe_print.php?id=118
So many wonderful things on your thankful list....a good man is one of God's better gifts to us isn't it?

  8. One of the reasons I love Thanksgiving so much is that it causes me to be so much more intentional with my thankfulness. Your post reminds me that my intentional thanksgiving can ... and ought ... to include the little things.

Thank you for your encouragement. I'm still so glad that I found your blog.

Have a blessed pre-Thanksgiving week, dear one!

  11. Hi Noreen,

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I am a Southern California girl. I have never lived in No Cal. It is so interesting to me when other people tell me they know someone else named, Crickit. I am sure there are not too many of us out there.

I have enjoyed my visit to your blog. :)

    Have a wonderful day! :)
