Friday Fun

Good morning to you.  How was your Thanksgiving? Did you have a wonderful day with lots of yummy food?
We had a delightful time at our daughter's; such wonderful nutritious food and great companionship.  We were home by 5:00 p.m. and watched a really good movie; it is older and we may have seen it before(but I don't remember)-The Notebook  What a wonderful love story and this gal did cry quite a bit at the end.
Today we may run to two stores and then start putting up the tree. I've been decorating slowly over the last several days so it might go quicker than previous years.
What are your plans for the weekend?
Tomorrow I  hope to visit my girlfriend who is here dog-sitting and maybe spend the night with her.  I love the girl time we have and the dog time because with 15 dogs she is caring for, there are always about 6 in the house.  What you say?  Well the house resembles "Tara" in Gone With  The Wind and is about 7,000 sf so having 6-8 dogs inside at one time is not a big deal.  Usually I try to spend several days with her each week but this year seems to be a bit busier than in previous years; just not sure how it will work out in the end.
Although there was frost on the ground this morning, the sun is shining and looks like a beautiful day.  I really need to start walking again.
Have a fun filled, Son filled weekend!
Blessings, Noreen

  1. Good Morning Sweetie...
Sounds like you had a wonderful time yesterday. Memories to file away for another day.

Oh I am tickled you get to spend time with your girlfriend, enjoy the Tara plantation and of course feeling safe with lots of critters around. Laugh, and share memories. Aren't they the best. Be sure and post a few picks. Would love to see.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  2. We had a wonderful thanksgiving. All our kids, but one were home with their families! We also had extra guests. Everyone survived my cooking and the furry kids behaved themselves. What more can a mom want!

    Blessings, hugs, and prayers,

  3. Hey Noreen, we have not officially had our Thanksgiving meal yet. I cooked dinner on Thursday for my husband and girls, but we just had a regular meal. All my family is coming on Saturday for Thanksgiving. There will be 12 of us to celebrate, so that will be fun! Our weather this week has been rainy, but is isn't that cold. I am not a Black Friday shopper, so I have just enjoyed being at home today. Glad you had a great Thanksgiving day. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Love & blessings from NC!

  5. I had some extra time late this evening and I have really enjoyed reading through some of your latest posts. So much of what you write I can relate to. I like the way you write about your friends, especially when they stay two days and you wish it was for a week. What a sweet thing to say about them.

Thank you for posting. I sure did like visiting here.

  7. Noreen ~ Delighted to hear of your lovely Thanksgiving. We had one of the best times of Thanksgiving this year with our family. Sooo very much to be thankful for everyday. Your such a sweet blessing sister , I shared your words of comfort and strength to the dear sister we prayed for and it so blessed and encouraged her heart. Thank you for standing in agreement with me for God has given me a great miracle!
