Tuesday Morning Praise

Good morning sweet friends, Just wanting to share a song that we sang Sunday and that my heart awoke to this morning.

Love Crucified Arose by Michael Card

Long ago He blessed the earth
Born older than the years
And in the stall the cross He saw
Through the first of many tears
A life of homeless wandering
Cast out in sorrow's way
The Shepherd seeking for the lost
His life the price He paid
Chorus:
Love crucified arose
The risen One in splendor
Jehovah's sole Defender
Has won the victory
Love crucified arose
And the grave became a place of hope
For the heart that sin and sorrow broke
Is beating once again

Throughout Your life
You've felt the weight
Of what You'd come to give
To drink for us that crimson cup
So we might really live
At last the time love and die
The dark appointed day
That one forsaken moment when
Your Father turned His face away

May you enjoy this song if you know it; if not, why not look it up and listen-it will lift your heart.
Each day I hope to get pic's of the new nest but somehow the hours just fly by and once again I blog without anything to show you. All I can say is that it is beginning to look a lot like home.
I am slowly taking things over; you know like dishes, food, some clothes. I am hoping that my next week at this time we'll have taken up permanent residence there. May our Lord richly bless your day!
Hugs, Noreen

  1. Thank you for posting such a beautiful song. I have been so weepy lately and it brought tears to my eyes. I was writing scriptures on papers this AM to post around the house....seems that there are layers in dealing with the fire and another has been peeled back.

I wanted you to write to me via email so I can give you some ideas for the antique stores around here. =) Since you asked a few posts ago when you commented.

    Bless you today!! xo

  3. Transition can be so difficult! I'm praying that you are able to move in and get settled quickly. You will make that house a home, I know.

Don't you just love when you wake up with a song in your head and heart? The words to this song are so true and lovely. Hmm ...reminds me of a verse about how we are to focus on what's good and right and lovely.

    Love you,
    Debbie
